    300 HRs
    400 SBs

The club has exactly 2 members:
    Bobby Bonds
    Barry Bonds

    Currently sitting at:
    232 HRs
    318 SBs

I would have said just 2 short years ago the SBs were probably out of reach, but those larger bases are allowing him to still snag 15-20+ a season.

This year and next he needs to make hay and get to 270 HRs and 360 SBs. Then I think he's on cruise control over the next 3 seasons to reach the milestones.

Might reach all that the same year he gets 3000 hits.

I don't think he gets to any of the three milestones unfortunately.

He will have to be very good this season to have a chance at them.

    HOF regardless

is there a better teammate than that guy?

Amazing player. Not perfect by any stretch, but still a must see amazing game changing player.

(I’m not saying you agree or disagree. Just throwing it out there)

I like this comment, but also ask you to consider that it's possible future events can take you out of the HOF, whether you agree or not. Two which are clear examples are Barry Bonds and Pete Rose. A slightly less clear example is Berkman who just got caught in a rule change just when he became eligible.

If he is healthy, 300 HR should be the first attainable milestone.
He only needs to average 14 over 5 seasons (including this one), 17 over the next 4 or 23 over the next 3.

I predict he gets 300 HR in Aug. '27
400 SB in Aug. '28 and 3000 in July '29.

Well 2 titles and being 2nd all time in post season HRs absolutely seals the deal.

    Oh yeah and that MVP.

He needs some of Barry’s supplements to get there. Juiced Altuve would be a funny looking person

Imagine Altuve's speed with Bagwell's base-running instincts. He'd already be at 400 SB.

I'm firmly in the corner of he might hit these marks, or he might not.
    I will be watching regardless.

I'm in the camp that only injuries keep him from getting there.

Altuve on pace for ~160 hits this season and should finish 2025 right near 2400 career hits. 600 more hits over his age 36-39 seasons seems like a tall ask but if he stays healthy and doesn’t fall off too far he can get there. If I’m making predictions I think finishes his current contract with just over 2800 career hits and so he will need to play his age 40 and 41 seasons as a reserve or part time player seems to get that last 150-200 hits.

I think he easily gets 300 HR but I don’t see him getting 400 SB. How many guys have 300 HR and 300 SB?
