If we want to make this trade package realistic and ensure it works for all parties involved, how would you approach it? I believe that if we were to acquire a player like Giannis, we would need to build a roster that maximizes his strengths. Specifically, surrounding him with players who can effectively space the floor would be crucial to unlocking his full potential. This would allow him to operate as a dominant force in the paint while maintaining an offense that remains dynamic and unpredictable. What kind of players or assets do you think should be included to make this trade both appealing and functional for everyone involved?
As long as we keep, Sengun, Tari, Amen and Brooks. A package around Green, Jabari and 2 1sts should get Milwaukee to talk
I think it'll take way more than Green, Bari, and 2 1sts. If this trade is done at the deadline, it'll have to be centered around Amen and a ton of picks IMO. I just don't know if it's worth it.
Giannis is 30 hard pass. You'd get 3 yrs and then the injuries start happening. Giannis is like Shaq he wont have a gradual decline it'll be a straight crash cuz he is dependent on his athleticism and physical playstyle just like Shaq. Why do we need to impose a short window on ourselves? Makes zero sense.
My guess is the ask would be amen, tari, reed, the suns picks, nets swap, and another 1st? I have no interest in giannis and if we do, it needs to offseason trade centered around alpi. Alpi and giannis seems like a horrendous fit.
They are NOT trading these two players https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sou...sQFnoECBYQBQ&usg=AOvVaw1gfSBO0sVT_Rj16ggw5oY4
I think they would ask for the moon, sun and a few planets to go along with the package. They will ask for Green and Sengun plus 4 FRPs for sure.
Only players that should be off limits is Amen and tari. And this deal will require alot of draft picks probably like 4 to 6.
Meh. It's easy to say that, but we're talking about Giannis here. I seriously doubt we're getting him without giving up at least one of Segun, Amen, or Tari.
If it ever actually gets to that stage where Giannis wants out... Having a realistic chance of getting Giannis in Houston is really going to depend on Giannis. Someone like Ime will have to sell him on wanting to come here. I know the Blazers sent Dame somewhere against his wishes, but I doubt the Bucks do it. It's possible, but you're likely going to need to sell Giannis on coming here. The trade package is really up to Milwaukee at that point. Jabari, Sengun, Jalen ... they will probably be able to pick who they want from that group. Maybe Giannis himself has preferences on who plays with him here, but the Rockets, while they may have preferences, likely can't be too picky. Landing a superstar is what they've been wanting to do for a long while.
30 isn’t old, but in the NBA is near the end of the line for a vast majority of fellas. A few guys like Durant, Lebron, Karl Malone, etc can play elite into their late 30’s and into their 40’s.
the Rockets tanking trade value of both Jalen and Cam, and letting them throw 3's at a high volume makes sense now
Literally zero chance the Rockets acquire any current superstar in a trade without including Sengun, Amen, or Tari. Other teams have watched us play too.
