It would take more value coming back than that. It's early, but someone is really going to pay for three. Guys could slip, and there are young and extremely desirable targets available there now. Aren't we fortunate? I'd like to see us get a veteran stud, along with a pick in that 10-12 range. It's entirely possible that whomever we pick in there could be a top 3-5 player in this draft. That's the kind of deal I could see Stone/Witus making, with us smelling like a rose.
Don't think #3 carries that kind of value unless Sarr falls there. I like Portland as a trade partner though as I think Sheppard would be there at 7. i think 3 for Rayan Rupert, 7 & 34 makes sense all around.
7 and 14.....crapshoot anyway.....who's available is more valuable than 3?......hard to tell........roll.........
We already have to find reg playing time for Eason, whitmore and amen. The last thing we need to do is add 2 more rookies.
Sure.....but in division....unlikely unless Spurs are totally sold on a player.......in that case.....if we agree......They Are Ours.......Then we're keeping the pick....... If not though?....doubt they deal with us....... Deal with Portland........
This would be a dream scenario. The question would be who else (3-6) would draft Reed? Surely not Portland. Not the Spurs. Not Detroit. Not the Hornets. I think that's why quite a few mocks have him available in the 8-10 range. If there is any year to entertain trading back it's this one. And in this scenario we fill 2 of our biggest needs. Neither would likely ever start but they could go a long way in solidifying our bench for years to come.
Are you 100 percent convinced in this draft that 3 is better than 7 and 14 I don't see either team doing it though Rockets don't need two more youngsters And Portland needs to take 2 chances in the lotto
Idc about the 14th pick, and yes, I would rather have 3 than 7 and like u said, we don’t need another 2 young players
