Win them all. Take over the world. I'm in a sports depression and I need some Astros victories in my life...

Guardians just like the astros are finicky on offense.

Because of that, guardians gonna score 5 or more runs for all 3 games.

This would be a great time for Abreu to remember he is a .850 OPS career hitter who has never had an OPS below. 798

Yep, he finally moved Pena to the 2 hole and Pena responded well, so let's have him lead off one game then moved back down

    Idiotic

They’re facing a lefty. Surprised Diaz is in there… hopefully he can reverse those career splits.

What’s the stros record with Peña in the 2 spot?

Fwiw, Peña wasn’t responding as well the last 10 games.

Ironically, those demanding he always be in the #2 spot reminds me of those demanding that Maldy be the primary catcher for certain pitchers. Eventually, numbers should play out regardless.

Peña did respond well to the off day… but it was Oakland so take it fwiw.

It is amazing that Chas, Dubon, and Meyers all hit LHPs well, but are used well below average against starting LHPs. I was surprised to see Dubon get a start, but disappointed not to see Meyers in there.

He is hitting .306 with a .999 OPS in the 2 hole

    .227 with a .621 OPS everywhere else

Our offense is extremely poor right now

Quit trying to defend his poor lineup decisions

Baker is going senile and the WS win has made him even more stubborn.

I'm at least happy that Brown was able to convince Dusty to start Diaz at DH instead of Julks. I guess Dusty is going to give Abreu some more time to dig the hole deeper before siphoning off some of his playing time.

I want Pena in the #2 hole.

That said, there is a distinct possibility that this is about Altuve.

He never wanted to hit leadoff.

If he wants to be in the #2 spot then that trumps Jeremy.

With Yordan out, Jeremy is now one of the "power" bats in the lineup.

Maldy only fits in the #9 spot

Dubon only fits in the 9, 1, or 2 spot

Altuve should always be in the #1 or 2 spot.

Jeremy needs to man up and be a run producer in the bottom-middle of the lineup. I know he has it in him.
