    Just want to appreciate this big galoot for his veteran presence, his humor, his kindness and filling that Mutombo role, before he’s let go and we actually have to grieve. In mental preparation, I had to start this thread, because I’m not ready to say goodbye (esp if it’s due to some dumb move by our GM like signing a 5th center you already had in the bag) :(

    I'd keep him. He looks unstoppable in short spurts against backups, sometimes even against starters. And I like his style.

    He could be effective in some matchups but he’s almost unplayable in most matchups. If either one of Alpy/Bruno goes down, I’d put my trust in Favors rather than Garuba/Boban.
