If Rockets score 115 points per match, it is difficult to lose more than half.

JGreen+KPJ+Alpi will score 70 points combined, with Jabari 80 at least. So the team needs just 35 points from the rest (Tari,Gordon,Tate,Nix,Josh,Matthews,KMJ,Bruno,Dallas Cowboys). If the team does not lose intentionally how they will manage to be under 0.500? I can not figure out.

    Any idea?

Lol is not an answer/explanation. Tell me how quartet can not score 80, or the remaining players will not be able additional 35. You might think that Rockets will concede more than 120 points per game.

Give me explanation, a serious one.

They will not score 70, are you expecting 25/25/20? That’s ludicrous

The quartet (JG-KPJ-AS-JSJ) will be able to score 75 points per game minimum. How many points you expect from them combined?

I have the top 3 getting less than 70 points per game:
    Thrilla: 25 pts
    Porter: 20 pts
    Sengun: 15 points
    = 60 points
    Jabari: 15 points
    Tate: 13 points
    Starters avg: 88 points
    -----

    J Christopher: 12 points
    Kenyon: 11 points
    Mathews: 8 points
    Tari: 10 points
    Eric Gordon: 10 points
    Garuba: 6 points

    ---------
    I see:

    Platoon of KPj/G4....Christopher at the 1 & 2 (PG/SG)
    (KPj & G4 avg 34 mins/gm each).

    Platoon of Tate/Jabari.......Kenyon/EG/Tari at the 3 & 4 (SF & PF)

Platoon system of Sengun......Garuba/Tari at the 5 (Center)

    ------------
Mathews, TyTy, Nix, Bruno getting spot minutes or garbage time.
Those eligible for G-league play there.

*Good chance Porter gets traded like Wood did before the season.
Rockets content with Christopher inheriting the job. Can't chance
Porter playing well and logging in:
    20 pts / 5.5 rebs / 7.8 ast / 2.4 TO's /...34 Ast% ( near 10th x guards)

Rockets probably don't want to give Porter $20+ mil....don't trust him......but
with those numbers will be a fan favorite.

In this scenario JC takes Porter minutes
and Mathews/Eric Gordon would get more minutes.

The rockets will be well below 500 next year. Tank cheerleaders need not be concerned. Folks who want to start winning should be realistic. We’ll win a few more games but we’ll be a bottom 7 lotto team. We’re just too damn young and still unbalanced.

The idea that those three average 70 between them this season is crazy.

That's 23.3 each and none of them have ever averaged close to that ....

    Sengun didn't average double digits.
Porter was 7.7 points short last season as the #1 option.
Green was 6 points short as a rookie but I could see him getting there this year.

This analysis is just completely devoid of reality. It ignores that even BAD teams got better too. We likely lost the production of Wood, EGo, and some other minor players. Nothing really changes except Jabari. Our players are going to get better but it is going to take them at least half a season to adjust to a whole new team dynamic. They are going to be sh1tty on D and turnover prone. I say leading the league likely. By the end of the season I think they will be better but expect 20-25 wins. They are going to blow late leads and not have the mental toughness, discipline, etc to come back on teams in the 4Q. We have already seen this play out. They will get a top 3 or #1 pick. They need that pick, two max stars, NTMLE, BAE and then you have a real playoff team that can win 45-50 games and grow consistently from there to a 60 win team. Even that team will have to adjust to a new team dynamic. This crap doesn't happen overnight. One GREAT player not named Harden may add 7 wins but you are not going to gain 20 wins simply by getting rid of two players.

Green and KPJ aren't going to improve 100% in one year, Smith isn't going to be an instant all-star, Sengun is going to moderately improve. Eason and TyTy look to be decent contributors like J Christopher that will be important but need time to develop. If Tate doesn't develop his 3 shot more you have seen the best that he can give.

Can you explain what playing free means? He gets the ball in the spots where he is most effective (high post, low post, and elbows). He gets a lot of passes and assists to cutters and baseline guys this way and plays his low post game when he wants to. Im not sure what you mean by free.
