Okay we'd probably win like 12 games with this crew, but can anyone else think of a more young, fun, intriguing lineup in the league? PG - Kevin Porter Jr. SG - Jalen Green SF - Kenyon Martin Jr. PF - Alperen Sengun C - Christian Wood A great mix up athleticism, ball handling, passing, and hopefully acceptable shooting. Defense is pretty questionable obvs lol. Regardless, I know I'll be tuning night in and night out!
We need to bring back D'Antoni to coach this squad. Or perhaps Jack Pardee in a run n' shoot offense.
Sort of like the Francis years when we would lead the league in turnovers? It was fun to watch, but you would end up with fists full of hair at the end. I don't think this group will be that frustrating, but there will certainly be some frustrations to go along with some fireworks. I'm looking forward to it.
It's among the most exciting lineups for Rocket fans, which is all I care about. But If I weren't a Rocket fan I'd probably lol at one of the worst teams in the league having the most exciting lineup, a lot of really really good things would have to happen for our lineups to be amongst the most exciting in the league for non Rocket fans.
You guys always get enamored with lists of names like everyone fits together as the best version of themselves 2K style. I'm happy with the roster.
Sorry you are right in your choice but you are two seasons too soon. FIRST TWO SEASONS would be PORTER GREEN TATE THESIS WOOD
Well, OP did say it’ll only win 12 games. And CFnet loves to rag on things anyhow, even “boring wins”. we’d definitely get a thread “I’ve grown to HATE watching the rookies try to grow”
Yeah I remember CF complaining about D'antoni system, even with James Harden iso-ball #1 offense in the league. But hey, we need more ball movement and mid ranger jumpers right?? Then D'antoni, Morey, and Harden left. But we got our wish! More movement, passing, and inefficient long 2's...just like everyone wanted! But our then our offense tanked to basically dead last in the league...I guess in hindsight, Moreyball with Harden 36 PPG iso-show wasn't so bad afterall LOL
arent you one of the realists who expected wall to start and play significant minutes to increase his tarde value? also can you point to the thread you started predicting suns ending up in the finals and almost winning it all?
With a serious skillful defense minded coach i dont think the defense would be problem here...i am loving this lineup perhaps i would just find a way to insert tate somewhere perhaps at sf...whatever it will be fun fun fun to watch!
yeah I forgot about Tate tbh LOL. Brainfart. He definitely belongs in this hypothetical rotation at the very least.
i dont think there was more movement last year...the offense was often stagnant and we always had the isoball ballhog whether it was oladipo, wall or somebody else and a lot of chucking of bailout 3s..... nice try tho to blame it on long 2s and the movement
