I think it's going to be between Suggs and Green.

If Wood gets traded or injured, and Sengun gets 30 minutes a game, I think he could be in the conversation. I don't think 18 and 9 is far fetched.

Tough call, could definitely be wrong and a random first rounder takes it.

But hopefully Green edging out Suggs, with Barnes and Sengun as darkhorses or honorable mentions. Cade and Mobley should play better as well.

Regardless if it's close or a tie, Green will likely be the most exciting rookie in the league pushing him over the top.

The issue will be other teams having better records than the Rockets helping thier rookie's cases. But we'll see what happens.

Easily Baby mamba. Wouldn’t surprise me if he had a couple 40 pt games his rookie season.

Green will win WC rookie of the month for every month
Cade and Suggs will go back and forth for EC rookie of the month.

Green's consistent WC streak will push the narrative.

    Profit. Green ROY.

I think green is the front runner for ROY he’s going to be THE guy along with KPJ on this super young super bad rockets team and will be in the best position to be scoring a ton.

Cade may have a more balanced stat line but he may not have such high usage as the piston have more talent(I can’t believe I said that). He has a shot to win if he can really be the pg which I haven’t seen, or if he just does it all out there.

As of now, I have a hard time thinking any Rockets rookie will get enough burn to win ROY, but anything could happen and there's scenarios that could give Green or Sengun a larger role that could put them in the conversation.

It'll probably be between Suggs and Cade though

This might be the best ROY race in a very long time. Not sure I’ve seen 5+ players capable of winning it.

    Cade
    Green
    Mobley
    Suggs
    Barnes
Kuminga(?) rumors he could get traded
    Mitchell
& there’s always some surprise player

Don't think it will be quite this tight but I agree, this was a crazy deep draft.

I think it's wide open. Wall and EG will cut into Jalen's minutes...at least initially. There's no doubt in my mind that he's on his way to superstardom, but ....Meanwhile, Suggs and Barnes will get all the floor time they can handle. And, I DON"T think Cade's going to win it.
As far as Mobley goes, he'll be in the conversation, but as with Jalen I see his greatest accolades coming later.
It's my belief that Green and Mobley will battle for MVP's over the years. But, I could actually see Suggs...maybe Barnes getting ROY. I'll have to go with Suggs due to him being much more polished/NBA ready.
    Sengun & Giddey are longshots.....with a ton of juice. Davion's a stud.

Looks like Mike Schmitz has a favorite for ROY.

I think the media has selected Cade the phenom, and barring a horrible season, that is who it will be. LaMelo played like 12* games last year. But at the beginning of the season, everyone decided he was going to be rookie of the year, so that’s what happened. If you look back at the last 10+ rookies of the year, with rare exception, it’s who the popular pick at the beginning of the season was.

*LaMelo played 51 games, registering below replacement level efficiency on FG% and 3PT%.
