Rather than The NBA Dish, maybe the forum should be called The Ex-Controversial Rockets Forum for that is when folks show up. Hey The Wizards are up later. Is Brick playing?
Den Avdija – Out (Health and Safety Protocols) Davis Bertans – Out (Health and Safety Protocols) Troy Brown Jr – Out (Health and Safety Protocols) Thomas Bryant – Out (Left ACL) Rui Hahcimura – Out (Health and Safety Protocols) Raul Neto – Questionable (Left Groin) Ish Smith – Out (Health and Safety Protocols) Mortiz Wagner – Out (Health and Safety Protocols) Russell Westbrook – Questionable (Left Quad) https://wizofawes.com/2021/01/24/washington-wizards-who-is-available-vs-san-antonio-spurs/ Hasn't played in two weeks and his quad may continue to keep him out. Maybe our best transaction to date was getting rid of him. I can just imagine, if he had stayed, where the state of the GARM would be right now with him having missed half the season already due to his quad. Had this happened, trading him would have been impossible.
I don't see the Nets beating Boston/Philly or Lakers right now. If Harden gets back to who he is then yes Nets can go all the way.
most of the wins and losses are mostly luck difference between nba players is mostly nuances 20 points win is actually 5 possesions game nowadays LUCK or chance plays a huge role in any particular game
He never will with Kyrie taking most of the shots and dominating the ball. To be who he is, he needs the ball.
Its funny, while Harden plays tons of minutes with Irving and KD. He is still out there mostly playing with Nets scrubs, he is basically the captain of the bench since they sub him out first and then bring him back in while KD and Irving rest. He is still playing with scrubs.
I don't know if Russ is just declining in athleticism in age or what, but he looks like a shell of himself, even from last year. Stone doesn't get enough credit for trading him out of here for John Wall, which one-for-one would have been more than enough, but an added first too.
Westbrook is horrible. The worst part is that he may be good if he realized what he's good at. Getting rebounds and finding open players. Yet he continues to chuck weird shots with 20 secs on the shotclock. Even Wizards fans after only like 8-9 games are already done with him, lol. The weirdest thing are his free throws. How does one get so much worse at shooting within a couple of years? No athleticism needed for that
I feel no joy rooting against russ anymore. this is sad. hopefully he is just as bad when he plays the Rockets on Tuesday.
I still do. The best thing is that i get to be happy about it every game. Years ago, there was the off game where he would put up good numbers, now he just plain sucks and it's fun.
lol, I can't muster it. This is painful to watch. Rockets no longer have Harden so i cant use that as a conduit for my Hate Watch. Watching him flounder is no longer fun for me.
