I suppose I missed something. He was traded to TheGoodGuys, yes? But... Is he hurt, told to stay away or or...or what? I don’t think I’ve heard word one. Enlighten me, s’il vous please.
Folks, I'm happy to report that I'm working on a longform piece on the subject as a freelancer for The Ringer - working title is: Can Dante Exhume His Career, or Is He Buried for Good?
Yes, will likely be a valuable expiring at the trade deadline. There are a lot of not so good contracts with 1 more season left like Aminu, etc. Guys that teams would likely love to get rid of and potentially include a pick or 2 2nd's to get off of their money next season. Not really sure Tilman will sign off on these types of trades but Rockets should be looking to unload Exum for a player like Aminu who could potentially rebuild his value next season as a rotational piece for this team after recovering from injury. Could maybe include House to get back a 1st round pick or a pick + a young player like Chuma Okeke. Rockets shouldn't be saddled with bad contracts next year unless they get valuable assets back but these are the types of moves that Stone should be looking at although Aminu is not the only player like this but would be one of the best buy lows out there IMO to take advantage of Exum's expiring.
Good to know, I was wondering what happened, I mean he was the number 6 pick I believe.....maybe he just needs some time, or maybe he is a bust. DD
Calf injury, will not be able to play until March. Stone is such a genius GM, neither Kurucs or Exum help the Rockets ON THE COURT.
Congrats man that's awesome and well-deserved I've been trying to make a similar move with no results to date Would love a chance to chat w you about the road you took to get their attention sometime ...
AFA had been my dream target in a PJ deal for awhile ... Pre Harden trade that is This team has been begging for a 3&D PF who, unlike PJ, has the height, length, and athleticism to play inside as a rebounder and finisher Now I'm not sure it matters, unless next year expiring AFA nets a better pick in return than this year expiring PJ Unless his injury is a career ender, I can't see how it could hurt
