    Would have liked if they made the list by highest % of the cap used by a trio.

    Raw dollar figures we know the newer trios are going to dwarf trios that are even just a couple years old.

    Agreed. This list is pointless until they show the percentage of cap as you suggest or adjust the salaries for inflation.

    It even says in the article, "Below you can check the all-time ranking, which unsurprisingly is filled with modern-day trifectas." DUH

    Jordan alone used to make more than the entire cap. Only no 1 trio does this in this table.
