“It’s far from a good bye as I pay all my debts.”

Looks like Harden still intends to prop up the Houston strip club industry. What a guy!

Should have been the message before the season started not after he shat all over his teammates and coaches, to get what he wanted. Since he didn't do that, it's gonna take time and there is no guarantees. That's on him though.

Should have said this st the podium but you aren't very good in pressure situations.

I enjoyed his eight years here. It was time for him to go.

It was a rough ending but it was fun while it lasted.

I hope he, MDA and Morey get their success in the East.

I don't think there will be a reunion in three years even though he is alluding to one. I'm not getting my hopes up for anyone coming to play here. Tilman is not well liked.

I like how this legitimately seems like James Harden is the one writing it. And for what it's worth I do appreciate that he took the time to craft a statement himself instead of through some overly-polished media rep.

I wish him well in Brooklyn, and I do hope he wins a chip--just not at the expense of the Rockets. And he haaaad to tease us with that part about paying his debts, huh?

Thanks, James. I think we're all ready to move on and this, at least, is a better ending then that press conference.

I think that line is just off the court stuff. He owns part of the Dynamo and put some roots here and he might not even be in Brooklyn long if that place implodes.

You wouldn't have know that by the way he threw his teammates under the bus and ran them over twice.

His post makes me think he is aiming to win a championship within the next 2-3 years with Nets and aim to work his way back to Houston once his contract ends ala Lebron in Miami back to Cleveland.

Would you accept Harden returning in the same way Lebron returned to Cleveland? What if he goes and does his superteam gig for a few episodes while we build up the squad, he comes back with the championship experience and brings one home to us? Then retires in LA lol...

I guess I didn't see it the way you do. It's not like he said "y'all are not good enough." He said "we". If he threw them under the bus he jumped under the bus right there with them.

He is supposed to build a restaurant in Houston. Maybe when he is about 40 years old he will be a Chef in his restaurant.
