Maybe I'm in the minority but I actually am looking forward to watching the Rockets this year. I like the Wall trade. Westbrook was terrible and at least this gives us another dimension we sorely lacked. We have real rim runners now for two of the best passers in the league. We might shoot mid range shots now.

Morey was a cool dude and an excellent mind but his style had jumped the shark. We had plateaued and were always going to be there with him here. Tilman still sucks and he'll try to sabotage the team but I'm looking forward to having a real offense where the ball moves around and people aren't staring at Harden for 20 seconds.

I'll feel more comfortable if Harden is confirmed to stay with us 100%

The Rockets are more intriguing now, and they actually have an outside chance to do something now that the anchor around their necks that was Westbrook is gone.

They still face an uphill battle, but just the fact that there's some upside makes this season much more interesting.

Getting rid of Russ was like taking a dump after being constipated for a week. I don't care what we got back in return, the catharsis was enough. Also a bonus blessing from this trade was freeing up usage for our actual 2nd star, Christian Freaking Wood. It's gonna be a fun year.
