I am the biggest optimist on this board and have never rooted for a loss. With that being said, if a loss will get obrien closer to the exit....steelers 34, texans 10
I see a low scoring game...Steelers offense doesn’t scare me and our offense is going to struggle against their D. We get a lucky one. Texans 17 Steelers 14
BOB should be taking notes this game. The steelers generally have been able to spread the ball between its top two receivers, tight end and runningbacks. Honestly they have to find out what they have in Fuller before he re-signs for big money. 0 targets is stupid.
Honestly this one could be worse than the first two. Steelers D is outstanding while ours is crap. Fulton is still healthy right? 27 - 10 Steelers.
Let's see, how will the Texans find a way to lose this game? Beyond bad coaching decisions from BoB (that's one thing that can count on), other things generally go wrong. Week 1 it was the defense, week 2 it was turnovers. What will week 3 bring? I say poor special teams.
To me, Steelers are dark horses for AFC champions. People can talk about the Chiefs and Ravens all they want, but the Steelers are gonna sneak up on you. Ben looks healthy. Juju is emerging. They have 2 receivers that look great (Diontae Johnson and their newest draft pick, Chase Claypool). Conner looks great. And that defense is still solid.
What if I told you that after their Superbowl lost to the Packers, The Steelers put on their best imitation of the Texans and lost in the wildcard round then went on to not even make the playoffs for the following 2 seasons, then 2 more early first round exits topped of with missing the playoffs again in 2018 and 2019. Like Romeo said to Juliet before sexing her, What is in a name? A rose by any other name would smell as sweet. But When you have a legacy in name, people often forget the mediocrity. Pittsburgh is a city of dreams. By day you're melting steel and by night you're training to make those dreams come true:
Conner is gonna run wild. Claypool will show why we should have drafted him. Their defense is pretty good, too. Steelers 38 Texans 24
Steelers 27 Texans 16 I don't like this matchup because Texans haven't protected Watson at all the first two weeks now they face a blitz oriented defense. This could be really ugly for the Texans offense and thats saying something after the first two weeks. I don't think the Steelers are as good on offense as KC or Baltimore is why I am not saying 38-16 or something like that.
We go 0-16 and have first pick in the 2021 NFL draft. A team trades up with us (For first pick) and gives us three 7th round picks for Trevor Lawrence. BOB gets an extension
