Milwaukee is half assing this. Looks like Memphis will get to play in. Portland will likely beat the Nets too.
A shame that you get eliminated with a perfect bubble record. Well, had they won more games pre Covid.
Pretty funny that the one team the NBA desperately wanted to get in the playoffs (Pelicans), didn't. And the one team that did the best in the bubble era (Phoenix) isn't going to get a chance to get in.
I always like Monty Williams. He might not be the best basketball coach. But he has always been a classy guy.
Sidenote. I do agree with Shaq (edit) that the Suns won't be THIS good next year. I think a lot of young players are not focused, on the road, being an NBA superstar that can do whatever you want to do as you travel the country and the world...I mean, Miami has a good home court advantage for a reason and it has nothing to do with their lukewarm bandwagon crowd. Next year, I could see them in that 7th or 8th spot though. Booker is going to have to prove that he can be focused in a regular NBA season and not AAU setting.
Don’t think booker is the actual biggest issue. It’s these other players that stepped up around him and are understanding their roles. They filled those gaps you need around your best players to do what they do. Ayton also played a whole lot better and looks to be reading the game in a much better fashion as well. Monty also has the ears of this young team. Something that’s pretty difficult to accomplish in this league
outside of lillard and harden is this current blazers team more talented than the 2016 8th seed rockets. Their roster looks loaded, why are they so many games under .500
yep i want the blazers to lose for that reason, the dame hype is unwarranted. they wouldnt even be in the playoffs if their was no play in game. the grizzlies got screwed by adam silver
Lavert could have sat out tonight but I guess he wants to end Dame's whole career. I'm all for it. I know it is easy to say that this Brooklyn team is going to be scary but I think they have too many scorers. What's that lineup look like? Irving, Dimwiddie, Lavert, Durant, Allen? 4 of these dudes trying to score...should be interesting.
