I have never seen a player dominate like Harden...a guy capable of leading the league in both 3 pointers and free throws made...it’s unheard of

in the regular season, he is right up there on MJ’s level

I have never seen a player get doubled like Harden this season...teams don’t even care if he’s hot or not...the minute the game starts, the double team comes, and it comes at halfcourt

if Harden is given single coverage in a game, u can expect at least 40 on most nights

Curry got a box-and-one thrown at him in 1 game of last year’s finals, and fanboys were having orgasms over his “gravity” and the “fear he puts on opposing coaches”...Harden has been getting that and more the entire season, and still averages 34 ppg on over 60% TS

no one in the league is even close to his level of dominance offensively...points scored, 30 point games, 40 point games, 50 point games, etc...Harden has run away from the pack...it’s like Usain Bolt vs a bunch of Kyle Anderson’s out here

sometimes I think about how absurd his numbers would be if teams were still defending him like they were doing back in 17-18...just letting Harden get the switch on any big or subpar defender and allowing him to dance and go to work...my god, it would be a league-wide massacre

I have a hard time believing Barkley said this. Did he?

No doubt about it. No one has scored and assisted on as many points adjusted for pace ever. The fact that he can jack up shots without losing any efficiency is amazing.

Posted this in the 'Harden - MVP finalist thread,' but here's the proof. It's a 2 minute long segment (on Harden alone) but it's a good listen.

    That's silly.

Chuck is one of the greatest 4's in history of the game.

Wilt was largely a product of the era in which he played. He was essentially a man playing against children for nearly all of his career.

Given that, I put Harden above everyone offensively. There are others who could put forth similar volume of scoring as Harden, but no one that could do so anywhere near as efficiently and he just blows everyone out of the water when you look at all of the points he creates.

Inside the NBA is as far from a hot take media show as you can get, but okay.

People who play fortnite aren’t interested in history
For example none of them know Max Kellerman was a boxing analyst
    They just think he’s god

    no...

if he’s not the greatest offensive talent, then he’s certainly top 5 all-time at worst

Who other than MJ, Wilt, and Shaq have an argument for being more dominant offensively? Who has an argument for being more talented aside from probably MJ? Shaq and Wilt were both insane physical specimens. That is the main reason for their dominance. I don’t think they’re more talented than Harden on offense. So who is more talented than him beside MJ?

Pure God-given talent? Personally, I think Durant is more talented. 7 feet, long as hell and can shoot from anywhere? If he and Harden had identical ways of going about the game, Durant would be better at doing Harden-things, because of his physical skills.

Even if Durant was garbage on the other side of the ball, his length would still bother people. If Durant had Harden's way about playing on offense and a pitbull mentality on defense, I think he'd be more successful than he already is, at this point in his career. Should even be considered better than LeBron.

But Durant does what Durant does, and that's just that.
