Did that just happen? Did the Rockets just complete the best comeback in history? Did the Rockets just record their third consecutive victory over a playoff team? Did the Rockets just get their first three game winning streak since November?

    WOW! WOW! WOW! WOW!

    Take that Tankers!!

Rockets FINALLY employ some kind of trapping/scrambling defense and look what happened.

Yes, I know the T-Wolves shot themsevles in the foot, but the TO's would not have happened if the Rockets were sitting back on their ass like they usually do on defense.

So let me get this straight: Screw those who want to lose.... yet screw those who want to win?

I think the thread is properly titled.

True Kid. In addition the Rockets were very swift with their offense especially with 7 minutes to go.

Oh boy, what a difference Odom or Lewis would have made tonight. :D

Respect our group of forwards, even with MoT and Willis being out.

I was surprised but very pleased that we won today after being down 93-86.Winning close games especially against playoff bound teams can only lead to gaining greater confidence in tough situations.

Actually, you've got it wrong...he's saying those who wanted Dream gone deserve this season. He's not saying that he wanted this type of season.

    Tankers suck.

ZRB is taking a select group of those who want to win and is mocking them because the team is losing. Now he's taking those who want to lose to improve the draft pick and mocking them because the team is winning.

Didn't say anything about what he wants personally (how could I when I said he seems to enjoy something from both sides).

Point being that win or lose, ZRB is screaming "HA!!!" at someone.

I guess ZRB wants to be in a no-lose situation.

No Clutch, you have it wrong this time. That sig is directed solely to those who have been ripping the Dream all season. The only positive I see out of a losing season is knowing that those Hakeem bandwagoners are suffering through a losing season. If the Rockets are going to lose, that is the only positive, development aside.

I want this team to win every game. I hate losing for draft picks. I have always hated it, and I will continue to hate it.

I'm not much of a Hakeem basher but Hakeem hasn't exactly been making a big difference for Toronto, and they made the conference finals last year with pretty much the same team. We can speculate til the cows come home but I kinda doubt our season would be much different with Hakeem here at this point in his career.

That may be true Woofer, but that isn't my point. I am angry with those who have turned on Hakeem. You know the people I mean. TheFreak and I have been through it with a lot of members who have basically trashed Hakeem and conveniently "forgotten" about what he has done for the team. If those people have to deal with yet another lottery campaign, then I don't feel sorry for them. That doesn't mean I endorse tanking.

Unless it's in a sim league! :D Computer players can't play for pride.

I think I'm with Woofer - Hakeem hasn't made Toronto any better - what's their record over the last 18 games?

Hakeem has always been my favourite player, but he's getting pretty long in the tooth and doesn't seem to be making much of an impact in the league these days.... (except on the 'time spent on IR stat')

OK...dream bandwagoner?? bottom line is a lot of us support the TEAM first above all.. hakeem didn't really want to stay here.. so some of such as myself. said who cares.. he does not much to offer.. let's move on .. we dont really need him...

if we were anytype of bandwagoners at all.. i dont think we'd be supporting the rockets ....

i will say this though.. i supported hakeem because he was a ROCKET... only because he was a rocket... i lost some of my general support for him a while back.. but that was totally through the few personal experiences i've had with him. ..

The problem is that ZRB thinks that anyone who felt objectively that it would be in the best interest of the Rockets team not to re-sign Hakeem to the money and years that he wanted is a "basher".

Yes, I will be the first one to admit that I was very harsh about Olajuwon leaving and I was harsh to ZRB, but I felt like that was the only way to get through to him.

    I have always said:

    1) Hakeem was the reason why I started following the Rockets
    2) Hakeem IS and always will be the greatest Rocket of all-time.

However, as much as I appreciate the things he has done for the Rockets and Houston, he doesn't play for the Rockets now - plain and simple. So, I don't care how he or the Raptors do. I just care about the Rockets and how they do. But alas, I guess I'm a "basher".
