The only one that caught any interest. I get the feeling it's still going to be closer to The Color of Money than T2...
I'm genuinely interested in about a fourth of them. I'd watch another half of them once they come out on HBO if I were bored, and the last fourth of them I couldn't care less about.
What a complete and utter load of crap sequels. There isn't one film on that list I would go to the movie theater for.
I just saw Saw III and can't imagine how they would continue the storyline. I'm gonna rent it and find out though .
You haven't seen IV yet? You can see how they will continue it to V, and they do make connections to earlier films. I still wish they had stopped after the first 2. The second 2 aren't as good IMO.
That just made me realize 28 days later is pretty much I am Legend, but about 1000 times better with 1/30th the budget..but yeah the 2nd one went back to same old "get that money" style.
jeepers m.ther f.cking creepers three? are they serious? did people even watch the 2nd one? i remember walking out on the first one due to the guy running over the corpse about a million times, stupid peice of sh.t movie
Does anyone have any insight of the economics that is driving this sequel craze? Do sequels of movies with bad reputations still make more money than movies with no reputation?
yeah.. wtf... I can't begin to imagine how they're going to make that work... the entire damn thing WAS Jim Carrey..
Nobody wants to finance a great screenplay with great actors that will make 2 million dollars opening week no matter how good it is... See... No Country for Old Men. Much easier to just get Michael Bay and Megan Fox's ass to put another 120 mil in the bank.
