3 Things we must do to win this series

    1. Box out for 48 minutes. Not 12 not 24 not 36...not even 47 mins. We are consistantly getting killed by second chance points the Jazzholes are getting. Little things like that are killing us. Chuck Hayes and Mutumbo are our best rebounders so atleast one of them should be in the game at all times. Scola is a good rebounder but hes no Chuck or Mutumbo. I would really like to see Chuck Hayes thrown his weight around alittle more. I'd also like to see Mutumbo throw those vicious elbows around. I'd love to see Kirilenko with a big ole shiner by the end of this series. Just watch out for T-Mac :D
    2. Make Our Freethrows As obvious as it is. It is a devistating problem. We very well may have been up 2-0 if we could have atleast shot 75% from the line in both games. I believe we shot in the low 60's both games. How can you expect to beat anyone like that?
    3. Ferociously guard the 3 point line I truley feel deep down inside, that the reason the Jazz beat us is because of their shooting from beyond the arc. Why not use the strategy we used on the Suns, and let Boozer get his, but do not, I repeat, do not let these guys take a 3. All of their momentum and momentum breaking has come by way of the 3 pointer.

I'm no coach but I feel that these 3 things are 3 most fixable things that are killing us the most.

We need to play physical like the Jazz and get Rafer back.

Just one thing. Take out Deron Williams. Have Mutombo slide his big ol foot under him after a jumpshot or layup. :D

I hope one of the Rockets injuries Williams really hard in the first 3 mins of the game.

I hate when the Rockets just leave that 3pt line open and than a Jazz make a quick 3s. I happend in Game 1 and it happend in Game 2 when Okur nailed 2 good 3s.

    Gotta pay attention

Not just pay attention, but switch faster. They aren't rotating on defense, and on top of that most of it was people just getting to them really really late. But at the same time, some of the times our player had a hand in their face there just wasn't much more that we could do.

One more thing that I feel is dire if we want to win one more game is make our lapyups, SO many times CHuck or LUIS had a wide open lay up but they missed them at CRUCIAL times.

But they get 2 or 3 3s in row which are pretty open. We should know Okurs is able to hit 3s, so is Korver, Deron, Kirilenko, etc.

As for layups,. I'm getting tired. Chuck Hayes should finish his carrer in the NBA after this season and Scola hell needs to make those layups. He was MVP of the World's Championships

I don't understand why Landry is getting less minutes than Hayes. At least he dunks it and makes those shots.

why the chuck hate? he did a good job on the defensive and rebounding. he missed one layup, that's it. Landry is not explosive right now, he is dunking really REALLY slow, and lots of time, they stripp the ball from him, before he gets to dunk. and landry is not a good as a defender as hayes, so landry - explosiveness < Hayes.

I like Chuck Hayes but it doesn't change the fact that he is just too weak offensivly. This guy makes opponents have to guard only 4 people. The defense hasn't been the issue, it has been all about offense

I agree that Landry is very slow.

Anyone with any heart on this team played at a big time college program with big rowdy crowds etc..

    Brooks-Oregon
    Battier-Duke
    Hayes-Kentucky

    1. Deke needs to foul AK hard in the first minutes of game 3.
    2. Hayes' minutes need to be cut & Landry has got to step in and be the spark off the bench that he was during the streak.
    3. Rafer's has to play over his head.

If were still losing after that then foul AK hard again, at least we can get some joy out of seeing AK going down after some real contact! :D

You are talking about winning the series, good for you.
What I want is a WIN, I do not think there is any chance Rockets can upset Utah.

Hayes is too short to compete for rebounds in this series. He is too limited a player.
