    1. Would a Tmac more in the mould of Penny be a better fit with Yao ming than a Tmac of the old??
Personally, I dont mind either way. and when I mean Penny, I mean >10 assists

    2. Is Luther Head's performance behind the arc the reason why Novak hasnt seen any court time?

Why do you need to put Novak on when you can put Luther on, whom which can hit just about as accurate 3s?

    3. How the hell are we going to play the spurs?

that oberto guy wen 12/12 last time...i didnt watch the game..but thats quite an achievement for a role player. Is he also an "ultra efficient" player? If so...who should Yao mark? TD or him?

    1. i would love to see tmac reform his game into penny style to fit with yao's dominate offense. u probably know this, but tmac did in fact say when he was in high school his favorite player was penny and he modeled his game after his.

    2. i believe so. head is obviously more versatile than novac at this point, but with hayes go down, i wouldn't be surprised to see novac against horry on tuesday night.

    3. assuming juwan starts on tuesday there's no way he can defend duncan 1on1 so yao needs to step up defensively. also stopping tony parker's penetration will be a key to victory.

tough game against spurs comin up but with home court advantage i like rox' chances.

    yeah i hate this attitude

the fact that he is getting 2mil is not our fault

    its his ex-manager's fault

why take it out on us

    I hope tmac+yao inspires him

Personally, I'm more worried about our rebounding, especially against San Antonio, who've two very good bigs at the frontline. It isn't a coincidence that we've been out-rebounding opponents since Chucky's starting.

Lineup for next game? Probably Battier will be at the 4, with Mac sliding back to SF and possibly Head or Snyder starting.

And as for your questions, yeah, I think a Penny-like Tmac would fit Yao very very well at this point.

tmac as more of a PG is a nice fit. his favorite player before coming to the NBA was penny hardaway so i tihnk he already know's how to be that kind of player.

agains't the spurs we might see a smaller lineup with chuck out: yao, shane, tmac, snyder, rafer.

although i'd like to see shane and tmac at the 2/3 on tusday so that one of them can destroy ginobili on the block.

We will need Chuck Hayes if we plan to beat the Spurs. He counters Oberto and Elson.

I think all of us are holding our "collective breath" right now waiting for a positive word on his MRI this morning. If he has to miss this game because he's day-to-day, hopefully he'll be ready later during the week. The guy is just a relentless worker and has become a fan favorite because of his hustle.

I watched the game where Oberto went 12/12. He's playing really well, but it's not like those were long range jump shots. They were mainly shots created by Oberto's guy doubling on TD, who made some nice passes to get Oberto the ball about 6 inches from the goal. Oberto had some jump shots too, but it was primarily good positioning and great passes by TD.

    How about this:

    1. How are we going to stop Yao? He's dominating the league.

    2. McGrady always kills us. If he and Yao both go off, we're in deep trouble.

    2. Their defense is even better than ours now. And now the Rockets have a homecourt advantage! I don't see how we can pull this one off.

    Sincerely,

    Spurs Fan

In the Miami gamethread, someone posted that they heard he was "doubtful" for tomorrows game from sportsradio 610, perhaps they already have his results back. If it were severe damage, they might have said "out indefinately," who knows...
