Who's watching this? Barry Pepper stars as Earnhardt, you might remember him as Pvt. Jackson, the sniper, from Saving Private Ryan. He also played Roger Maris in 61*. I was worried that they were gonna go the route of Junction Boys and use a mostly Aussie cast, but this was filmed in North Carolina. I hope it's good. http://espn.go.com/three/index.htm
DEI and RCR didn't care much for the script and didn't write off on it, so I worry about inaccuracies. I think it should be good, him behind the wheel looks really close to what Dale looked like.
Barry Pepper was awesome of Maris. Too bad I can't stand Nascar, because I imagine he will do an admirable job as Earnhardt.
