I say we give this team 10 more games to try to get to atleast .500 before we make a major move. Here's the next 10: @ Oklahoma City - L @ Toronto - W vs Phoenix - W vs Golden State - W @ Charlotte - W vs Oklahoma City - W @ Dallas - L vs LA Lakers - L @ Memphis - W @ Chicago - L My prediction after 20 games: 9 - 11 Please give your prediction.
@ Oklahoma City - L @ Toronto - L vs Phoenix - L vs Golden State - W @ Charlotte - W vs Oklahoma City - L @ Dallas - L vs LA Lakers - L @ Memphis - W @ Chicago - W I am fully expecting Westbrook and Durant to have a day out tomorrow, against the Raptors I think Bargs will go off for a career high against us, I would back DeRozan to give Martin headaches. Phoenix has too many good shooters and given the amount of space we tend to give shooters i can't see us getting a win. I think we will beat GS, doubt Ellis will go superman again ahem AB ahem. Charlotte are even worse than us, no chance against Lakers or Dallas. I am 50/50 on the Memphis game, guys like *sign* Conley has improved by heaps but I would still like to think that we can somehow get a win there and I don't think D-Rose will hit that many 3s at that % ever again this season.
I think Morey has been trying to make a move since last season. Eventually, however, a decision must be made. Do we continue holding out for a top tier player or do we give up some assets for non-stars in order to stop the bleeding? Worse case is giving up assets for non-stars (with big contracts), but the death spiral continues.
Until Aaron Brooks is back, this team is going to struggle at the end of close games.....I don't want to put a prediction down right now.. still smarting from that horrible offense in the 4th quarter last night. DD
We always play OKC well but we'll lose to them once. And we'll lose to Dallas, because Terry will dominate us in the 4th. And then we'll lose to Phoenix because we should beat them and we always lose to teams we should beat. Especially at home. Plus they have various big guys who will shoot threes and we all know Scola isn't going to guard them. So 7-3. So we end up 10-10 after 20 games. Meh.
I would like to be optimistic but I see 7-13 with all the injuries and the way the squad is playing. The Thunder will beat us twice because they will exploit our PGuard position and without Yao we won't be able to do the same to their center position. Memphis might be the only other game we can sneak out a win besides the nice 4 game winning streak we are about to go on after tonight's game.
That's because when Brooks is here, the game will be well out of hand by the 4th period after a 55 point explosion from Jason Terry or a career high 30-15 from Raymond Felton.
Teams are going to lay off of Lowry and force him to shoot. Hopefully he is working on his shot. There were several times he passed up a wide open shot last night, and even though he is struggling he needs to take those shots. DD
@ Oklahoma City - L @ Toronto - W vs Phoenix - L vs Golden State - W @ Charlotte - L vs Oklahoma City - W @ Dallas - L vs LA Lakers - L @ Memphis - W @ Chicago - L 4-6... Makes us 7-13. Crap I'm so pessimistic (realistic).
