I know the team played well in this same situation last season, but it really impresses me that all 3 wins have come against playoff teams, and that 2 of them were at the other teams house. Something else that really made me happy last night was the gameplan to contain Iverson. Thanks to the trapping and zones we ran, Iverson had to expend every bit of energy to get off any kind of shot, and I know it really took it's toll on him. I believe last night was the 2nd time (tied last night) this season that we've broken the FRANCHISE record for opponents point total. Keep it up, guys.
I know, how amazing is that? I thought for sure we'd win the Dallas game and lose the Phoenix game then turn around and beat Toronto only have the Sixers beat us. Wacky.
ah, but they are 1-2 on the front end. You are right, though. It is a good sign that they can still focus even when very tired and pull out a victory. Nothing pretty about last night's game. They just did what they needed to do to win.
yea i said that in the game thread: But only if they did good both games that would really put us over the top.
