And possibly make it to the second round too because they will end up playing the Wizards first round
So if Toronto were in the West, based on current record, they'd be 10th! But that doesn't take into account the fact they'd have to play WC teams more often - so more likely 12th or something... but yet top 4 in the East.
They have 4 former rockets in their rotation, so it's expected that they would have the same record as we did during those years. In the East, that means second round of the playoffs.
Lowry, 2pat, Hayes, who's the no.4? I like that team a lot. For a non-contender. I think they'd probably have a much better record if they started the season with this roster. Lowry and 2pat are playing the best basketball of their careers right now. Their overall health, size, frontcourt depth are excellent. They probably wouldn't be a 2nd round team in a normal year, even in the East. But they are one of those scary scrappy teams that no one is very excited to play. Those Rockets teams were older, softer and had a tendency to get injured a lot.
