    He just entered the game and Malik Rose "hammered" him according to San Antonio radio.

    There was 9:40 remaining to be precise. :)

    Ming looks really good. On one series he caused a couple of guys to throw bad passes merely because he was standing there.

    Ming's defnse looks a little suspect...but I think that's because of:
    1) nerves
    2) new system, AND
    3) first game in a more physical NBA.

    Ming will be a special player. I have never been so pumped up about a player's debut...EVER.

    I have been holding in my excitement about Ming until this point. Even just being his 1st game, he looks seviceable. Hopefully he continues this and keeps improving. Even now the team just looks so much more credible with him in there. I love this!

    This is my number one concern about him at this point; he's going to have to learn to back off and stay out of foul trouble or else every game is going to be like the world championships.

    yes but the reefs are letting SA manhandle the post. Note: Steve has his head burred. Hawkins looks real good coming off that bench.
