I thought it warrants it's own thread. Some notes from the Rockets' staff on today's practice.

Looks like Chase could be worth something down the road...

I hope CBud gets a lot of playing time and flourishes into a starter for our team.

Let's hope he can learn how to play some defense as well.

I like Steve Novak but that's why he isn't on our team anymore...

Sounds like we might see Landry and Scola starting. I hadn't considered that a strong possibility before, but its certainly possible.

I was thinking about that the other day, too. Certainly intriguing, though I would probably prefer Landry as the post sparkplug off the bench because of his energy and athleticism.

Not that it really matters but Beck's comments let me know he doesn't need to be a Rocket. One word for Chase... "Efficient" and lastly a prayer... Please GOD no more injuries!!!

    Might be a starter-by-matchup rotation.

Geez, we are the midget mafia.

I am happy to know Chase is doing well in the camp. How's Taylor doing?

btw, Adelman is missing Yao! No one else can be called 'center'...

Only if McGrady gets injured again or Budinger grows a foot.

There wasn't much to report other than Battier's injury.

As we get deeper into camp and preseason games start, there will be more updates/notes to post.

Me too his game is a mirror image of Nocioni.

Yea this might be a year of suprises. Beck = Martin in Mexico and Budinger = Nocioni who knows of course this is putting them above expectations, but i seen crazier things happen. Both seem to be fits for this offense if passing, cutting and shooting off screens is a strength.
