    The life and times we live in. I knew the attention Robin's suicide would garner but if you think about all the innocent children and women that have died over the past 2 months due to Israeli aggression it is sickening.

    People crying and mourning a guy deciding to take his own life and yet these same people couldn't care less about the innocent people being killed in the Gaza.

    It really is a shame. We live in this bubble here in the United States.....anything that happens overseas is almost irrelevant.

    It is really sickening how much attention that the Israel/Palestine conflict is getting. Two thousand civilian deaths in Palestine when there have been upwards of 150,000-200,000 killed in the Syrian conflict.... Muslims killing Muslims.

    The truth is that life is not worth a damn in the Middle East and it is really hard to argue otherwise.

    You're right, no one has mentioned Gaza once! Or you could actually go and look a the other D&D topics... America cares so little! Yet I have pictures on my phone of a protest/rally held in Denver at the state capitol building over the very same issue you say America ignores.

    So true. Plus, Muslims killing Yezidis and Christians. 150,000-200,000.

    But Olajuwon81 is more sickened by what is happening in Gaza. By the way, the civilian deaths in Gaza are caused by Hamas.

    It is a sad world we live in in some ways.

    But if I want to feel a little remorseful and a little nostalgic about robin Williams then damn well will.

    Unless you are someone spends most of their spare time promoting peace and protesting violence then you can just keep these comments and threads to yourself.

    As usual all of you are completely missing the point.

    The discussion was strictly about a famous actor committing suicide compared to 2k civilians dead in Gaza. Which do you think objectively speaking should have garnered more attention?

    That is not to say that there are no other atrocities in this world....many of which are equally despicable. Instead of attempting to argue or belittle the fact that 2k civilians are dead you guys act as if it is no big deal.

    Pitiful.

    The majority of America does ignore. Most people do not care. Just because you have some photos in your phone means nothing. Go around and ask people what is going on.......most have no clue.

    It's sad that the terrorist government the Palestinians elected are getting them killed just like it's sad that Robin Williams is dead....also by my count there is one Robin Williams thread and at least 8 or 9 threads on Gaza so I don't know what you want.
