OK, this may not mean a whole lot, but who is the current Rocket player to have played in 280 consecutive games ?

    .............

    Moochie Norris

I guess this is for all the people who've been dogging him for the past year. The guy is not an all star, but he's tougher then a lot of people give him credit for. I'd rather have him then a guy who doesn't practice with the team, or someone who can't stay healthy for more then 2 months, and when he finally manages to get back on the court finds no better way to help his team then to get suspended for a drug violation...

    280 games......something like 120 wins?

No in all honesty I like Moochie, I dunno why else but I like his work ethic. If u look at his TO per game in the past five seasons it's not so bad, considering he plays an average of 18min/game. He could do more with his game however and become a great complement player to our big 3 with JVG's help.

Oh yeah he needs to dribble less.;)

If Moochie plays another 280 games shooting at his current 35%, please God, do me a favor and let thunder strike my TV.

lol ! You guys are just a bunch of ungrateful &รจ-"& !

Actually i've probably demanded his departure in the past, but i'd rather the Rockets keep a him then stick with that Taylor guy...

Doesn't mean very much as a backup. I can play 1000 consecutive games if you ask me to either sit my ass on the bench and to play a couple of minutes per game turning the ball over and throwing up bricks. Just give me Moochie's contract and sign me up anytime. :)

Moochie pounds the ball with such a hatred that the only b*stard who should be grateful towards Moochie the Little Dribbler is the basketball supplier.

Check out Moochie's stats. Even though his assists-to-turnover ratio is surprisingly decent compared to Steve's, you will notice that his 3P% and FT% have alarmingly been on decline over each of the past 4 seasons. His 3P% is pasrticularly disturbing, going from 41.4% when he first fooled us into giving him his fat contract, all the way to 24.4% last year. Ugly. What the heck is wrong with you Mooch?

Since you like guards that much, we should have a team with 5 guards.

    :D

By the way, does anyone know who has the longest all time consecutive game streak for the Rockets ?

Otis Thorpe? (just a guess, i don't really know). There was a stretch in the early nineties that he was considered one of the league's Iron Men.

Speaking of astonishing tenures, I've always marveled at how long Bullard stuck around.

If you look back at our 93-94 championship team, next to Hakeem, I believe that Bullard played the most years as a Rocket. Granted, there were a couple of years in the middle that he was in Atlanta and out of the league, but when you add it all up it's still remarkable.

I guess you don't care Rockets win or lose either. as long as they're busting their butts for the team.

we shoulda just hire 5 street baller...pay them million dollars, they will bust their butts for sure.

What are you babbling about ? I do care about winning. It doesn't mean i can't like them all. Even the ones we trade away to improve the team.

Every time i see Horry and Cassell, i have tears in my eyes...
