As I proposed earlier the rockets will have to go at least 26 and 11 from here on out if they are to catch the Suns or Twolves. This is assuming the worst case scenario for the Suns and Twolves and they only go .500 in there remaining games, which would leave them finishing Twolves 45-37 Suns 44-38 My guess is the Twolves are playing too well at the moment and may well win 50, as for the Suns, they are faltering on the road but the just have to much talent and will probably go close to 50 wins as well. So in short the "beat the top teams-lose the to the crappy teams" Rockets need to at least finish 26 and 11 to give themselves a shot at 8th spot. Interestingly we have 17 home games and 20 away and we have 20 games against teams currently above .500 and 17 games against teams below .500 Who knows?? My guess is we will get stuck in the twilight zone between the playoffs and the lottery, that is 9th spot, but hell that got the Hornets the 3rd pick.
Yo! Man... This season is not the end. We have upcoming season armed with excellent forwards and satisfactory starts. Why do we stick to playoff? We just love Rocks and enjoy their game.
Where did i say I would stop enjoying the rockets if they missed the playoffs or after the end of the season. What is wrong with the discussing our playoffs chances for this season, which is all i was doing.
7 - 3 for the past 10. Can we stay at that pace? 37 games left. 70% of 37 is 25.9 games. It could be done baring any setbacks.
Would love to see a quick 8, 9 game run right about now. Its just a shame the Rocks have to depend on other teams to possibly tank to get into the playoffs.
