    It's hard to believe it's been 25 years. I started the website, then called "Clutch City '97", on August 8, 1996. The nickname "Clutch City" for the Rockets started in 1994 and there were banners in the following year's playoff run that said "Clutch City '95" so this was a play off that.

    The forums did not start until some point in early 1998 as a means to interact with fans and discuss the team. They took several forms until the final was established in 1999.

    Some homer posters on here but Ive seen some come and go the last 15 years.

    Love the Rockets section. Love the NBA section. Love the Astros section. And I love busting Cal's balls in the Texans section.

    Congratulations Clutch! I’ve been with you since the beginning. Back in 96 you were the only source of real news for Rockets fans living outside of Texas. 25 years later, your site is still the best.

    Started posting as D-Up back when site was Clutch City and looked very different from how it looks now.

    Some great and knowledgeable posters over the years who were instrumental in improving my understanding of hoops and deepening my love for the Rockets.

    Thank you @Clutch and all those posters who have come and gone over the years.

    I tried to get on when you started the page, but by the time Juno internet loaded over the phone line I think it was 2000 and y2k.
