I am looking for multi-access membership at 24hr fitness, do any know the cost of the membership and is there any enrollment and processing fee or other BS fees they throw at you?

The more you pay up front, the less your monthly will be. You are looking at around $350 a year. They will try to throw the BS fees at you. Negotiate like you were buying a car.

    I've been a member since 1991.

I pay less for a monthly membership than a cost of a single meal at taco bell.

If you prepay for multiyear memberships, they give you low renewal rates. That's how people end up having access to most( if not all) of the gyms for anywhere from 5-10 bucks a month. It's actually a pretty good deal assuming you plan on working out there longterm.

When I signed up originally in 1991, my parents got a 10-year family plan, and prepaid for the entire thing up front (several thousands of dollars)...

When the plan expired, we were offered a HUGE lifetime discount for being such "loyal" customers.

Holy cow that's dirt cheap! Was it a promotional or something?

I recently joined $850 up front payment for 3 years (about 24 bucks a month) with 50 bucks a year afterwards. Your rate is only around 10 bucks a month, wow. I have a few more people wanting to join at my rate. I got ripped off!

Edit: Mine's was a super sport, but still.

When I joined, I paid 900 bucks up front with $100 per year renewal after that.

My cousin signed onto my plan two weeks later and got 800 bucks up front with $10 per year renewal after that.

I suggest the MAC club @ Memorial/Dairy Ashford. Get a couple membership, $64 a month ($32 each) and a $100 activation fee. Also, the best part about it is no contracts.

I keep seeing 9.99 a month, which leads me to wonder exactly how much food drapg is getting at Taco Bell.

After what you did with buying your car, I don't think you are in the position to be suggesting deals or finances to anyone, mister!:D :p ;)

24 Hour Fitness is a joke. Overcrowded, overpriced, and underequipped. Hell, a lot of them aren't even open 24 hours. You'd be better off checking out local rec centers as they'll usually have all the perks, if not more than 24 Hour does, plus they'll have much more reasonable rates.

The only upside 24 Hour has is their hours, and even then that's not always the case.
