I'm too lazy to search, but OMFG... Sherry wanted to be Mrs. Palmer/First lady... Also, Wayne (I'd love him to be my brother) gets the prescription bottle and watches Sherry and his ex get shot/shoot herself...unbelievable... Best episode this season...I can't wait for the finale next Tuesday...
"When your daughter starts showing symptoms of the virus I am going to force you to watch her die." - that was great.
My fav was the one where they caught tha british guy (his name slips my mind), but this one is a close second. the finale should be awesome.
This would be my favorite show of all-time, except that I don't feel the need to watch it again after I've already seen it. I actually feel the same about all dramas pretty much; movies as well. I can watch comedies over and over, however. Why is that?
I can't disagree more. I thought this was one of the worst episodes of the season. I thought the best episodes of this season were the last 3, not including yesterday. I really liked the Saunders character and hoped he would escape for just a little longer. (Of course he would be caught eventually). It was exciting to see how far Saunders would really go to prove his point, but since he was caught the show basically seemed over. The Sherry Palmer character is very unappealing to me. I find her quite annoying, and am glad she died. But saying that, I found this year of 24 much better than last years. I'm looking forward to the finale.
For the most part, I feel the same way. Last night was kind of anti-climactic. They found 10 of the 11 viles way too easily and way too quickly. I'm also a little disappointed that they caught the bad guy 2 episodes too early....unless there is someone else bigger than Saunders. Sherry's dead! Sherry's dead! I don't know which was more gratifying, seeing her get capped or when she got KNOCKED THE FUG OUT?! Yeah I do...that punch was worth 2 seasons of putting up with her. It's going to be hard to live up to last week's episode, but I am looking forward to it.
The FOX preview ruined the murder-suicide..."Two of these people are going to die". Yea, with a few minutes left in the show....hmm, who's it going to be... I read a finale spoiler...which sucks.
Fox blows 24 won't be starting its new season until January 2005! http://66.51.173.18/cgi/gofuton.cgi?action=newswire&id=6600 In November, returning favorite THE O.C. moves to the Thursday schedule, leading into the second season of TRU CALLING, and the new medical drama HOUSE (working title) will air on Tuesday nights. The award-winning "24" returns for a fourth season in January, when it will move to Mondays; beginning with a blockbuster two-hour season premiere, the 24 episodes will air consecutively, with no preemptions the rest of the season.
With so many shows not having much rerun value, there's a movement to compress the entire season into a half-season and just run the show straight through. I noticed that Alias is also not coming back until January.
No kidding. They cancelled one of the shows I watch regularly and are delaying two others, I assume so they can put more and more "reality" shows where some dude I don't care about picks a woman to marry on the schedule and further drive away any male audience they might have had or to put more shows on where somebody gets tricked or more shows where America gets to pick the best lounge singer.
here is the Futon Critic's website address. He has all the programming listed for the new season listed for every station. There are quite a few new reality shows along with some drama's. http://66.51.173.18/cgi/gofuton.cgi?action=home I don't really like the move for "24" to monday either. I felt pretty good having it air after American Idol. Now, i don't know. It looks like it'll be going up against the #1 comedy Everybody Loves Raymond. And they canceled one of my favorite shows as well. They had something with Boston Public when it aired on mondays. It drew 8 to 10 million an episode, then they moved it to Fridays where it died, only getting 4.5 million.
Isn't Everybody Loves Raymond only doing 16 episodes, though? And I don't think I'm going to be watching the Jeff Foxworthy Redneck Comedy thing and the horrid Drew Carrey Allows People to do Unfunny Things for 30 Minutes that's replacing 'Angel'
Want to kill a FOX show? Move it to Friday and watch the ratings sink. Just ask any bitter Firefly fan about that...
And I tell you. What's with all the copycatting? The Apprentice does well, so now there will be FOUR of them on in the coming year (The original Apprentice is coming back, there's a Richard Branson one, the Mark Cuban one and one called "The Partner" which is a "legal take on the Apprentice"). In addition to that, there will be FOUR Law & Order (over 18% of NBC's schedule is Law & Order) shows and THREE CSI shows (but at least those are scripted shows), and probably 17 dating shows.
Here are the Friday sacrificial lambs for the coming season: THE INSIDE -- Agent Sean Eckhardt (Peter Facinelli) tries to protect Elizabeth/Danny (Rachel Nichols) as she goes undercover as a teenager on THE INSIDE, premiering on FOX. JONNY ZERO -- Living somewhere between the temptations of his past and his desire to win back the trust of his family is Jonny Calvo (Franky G), the everyman hero of JONNY ZERO from Executive Producer John Wells ("ER" and "The West Wing") premiering this fall on FOX.
by the Synopsis i can see why those are going to be on Friday night Your right, Raymond will only have 16 episodes. Las Vegas will also be competition for "24". I just don't believe it screwing with something that works. Fox for whatever reason feels the need to shift time slots. If it aint broke, don't fix it
Warning: Characters not returning next season........................... http://www.cnn.com/2004/SHOWBIZ/TV/05/24/television.24.reut/index.html Time runs out for some '24' actors Several CTU members may not be back Monday, May 24, 2004 Posted: 8:51 AM EDT (1251 GMT) LOS ANGELES, California (Hollywood Reporter) -- "24's" Counter Terrorism Unit will undergo some major downsizing this fall. Sources said that the actors who play Jack Bauer's (Kiefer Sutherland) CTU colleagues on the Fox drama have been informed that their options as series regulars will not be picked up for next season. Reiko Aylesworth and James Badge Dale, who play CTU members Michelle Dessler and Chase Edmunds, respectively, received the news just as they were to attend the Fox party after the network's upfront presentation to advertisers last Thursday, sources said. The two, as well as Carlos Bernard (aka CTU's Tony Almeida), could return to the real-time drama next season for guest appearances. Also up in the air is the "24" future of Mary Lynn Rajskub, Zachary Quinto and Daniel Dae Kim, who played CTU members on a recurring basis. Meanwhile, Elisha Cuthbert, who plays Jack's daughter and CTU analyst Kimberly Bauer, is fielding film offers and is expected to recur next season subject to her availability. She was most recently in theaters playing a former p*rn star in "The Girl Next Door."
