earlier today i went to 24 hour fitness to get a membership b/c someone i know can set me up with an account month to month for $30/month. well, it turns out, they have a deal going for $600 (processing fee included) up front payment for 3 years. that's just $16.66/month! that's for ALL 24 Hour Fitness gyms except Super Sports. but, for $50 more, they will add Super sports. that's only $18/month for 3 years. i decided to go with that. after 3 years, it's only $49/year renewal. this is the best deal i've seen from them. supposedly, this deal is only good til this Friday. anyways, just thought some of you may find interest in this. i went to the Meyerland location. Biggie, i'll probably run into now.
I work at 24 hour fitness and I can certify that this is a good deal. I work out at the Meyerland location.. maybe I'll see you sometime
The upfront part of the deal is what I don't get...Ok, it's an "initiation" fee or whatever, but $600... More power to ya...My work subsidizes my fee, so I pay $10/month...its a great deal until we part ways...
If I got my membership in Houston for a Fitness level, can I use the gym in Austin or any other place there is a 24 hour fitness? Will they make me fill out new paperwork just for using the gym for a week or two in the new location? Always wondered about that, but was afraid if I start talking to the gym reps they would start hassling me to buy something.
good deal!! after paying bally's for 3 years (contract) i'm now paying 6 dollars a month for as long as i stay a member!!!!!
you can get that exact deal pretty much anytime you want as long as you're willing to bargain. just remember they'd most of the time rather have some of your money than none of it. however that is the best deal i've heard them straight up offer someone.
if you get the supersport deal you can go to any 24 hour fitness anywhere. i don't know about the other one, but i'd just opt for supersport as it's not that much more.
Yeah it's a good deal if you have the 600 to front. . DonnyMost and Macalu, I usually work out from 4-6 weekdays. I rarely go during rush hour, but hey Macalu if you ever want to go shoot hoops there let me know.
I did a similar deal 3 years ago. It was like $750 up front for 3 years and then each additional year is only $20. I just renewed this year for $20, it was a good feeling. The best part about a deal like this is that you don't have them drafing out of your account every month which can turn into a pain, especially if you ever want to cancel.
typically the memberships come at these levels one club express active sport super sport ultra sport i assume you're talking about an active club membership, in which case you can use any gym that isn't a sport or higher anywhere in the US
How did you get that deal? After paying Bally's for 3 years, I'm paying $22 a month. Looks like I need to go talk to a Bally's sales person....
Donny, the sales rep was telling they are building a supersports downtown. know anything about that? i forgot to ask exactly where.
I'm looking for a free 2 week membership this winter break because the Wellness Center at Uh will be closed for 12 days (roughly 2 weeks). I like to work out 5-6 times a week and like play basketball 3-4 times a week so if anyone has any advice or leads on how I could swing a free 2 week membership it'd be greatly appreciated. PS Happy thanksgiving to all
Never heard of that. The only new location I know of is the Shaquille O'Neal signature gym they're opening up in Pearland on the 1st.
So it doesn't matter if I've previously had the 90 day memberships at the location I had in mind? I'm thinking about the meyerland location but I believe they already have my info on the computers.
