Well, since I didn't see it being discussed, I guess I should start... Last night was well, ok...Not the best episode, but I thought the best part was the Mother of Debbie coming to the house looking for her...I thought she was dead for sure... Next weeks show looks cool...You know, Jack, the one man team going in and kicking some azz...
Wish I could watch it, but I missed the first two and they don't seem to want to replay them. **** this show.
Oh, I don't know; she is being followed by the ruthless mother. It might be pretty cool to see the cheerleader mom kill the terrorist spiderwoman in self-defense.
Maybe if the employees at CTU would spend less time getting into their coworkers business and more time trying to catch the terrorists they might actually accomplish something.
The daughter is the mastermind behind it all. The schizo is just a coverup. It's her and the Persian Catherine Zeta-Jones that are orechestrating the whole spiel.
I think the daughter will do something to mess things up, clearing the way for Tony and his wife to come back to CTU and run things.
I was thinking the same thing (i.e. that Driscoll's using her position for personal reasons -- to help her daughter) except that it clears the way for Jack to take over CTU.
The thing is, the first time that guy called his boss at the compound, couldn't they figure out where he was calling and figure out where the boss is based on which cell tower his call went to?
I don't know, I have a feeling that since they lost the lead to the hostage location when that guy martyred himself, then it will have to be someone in the know, an unlikely character and help from an unlikely source, that will lead them there. My opinion? It will be that kid Behrooz. I think he will have second-thoughts about the whole thing and turn against his parents. Oh wait, I think Jack already found the location, or may be he thinks he has but he hasn't We will see, should get interesting...
Looks like Cerrano returns! http://aolsvc.news.aol.com/entertainment/article.adp?id=20050119012309990007 LOS ANGELES (Jan. 19) - Dennis Haysbert is back on Fox's "24." After leaving the real-time terrorist thriller last season following his character president David Palmer's dramatic decision not to seek re-election, Haysbert has been tapped to return for the final six episodes this season. For the past three seasons of "24," Haysbert starred opposite Kiefer Sutherland as a soft-spoken senator-turned-president, a role that earned him a Golden Globe nomination in 2003. "24" has a habit of bringing back characters, especially villains. Nina Myers (Sarah Clarke) and president Palmer's conniving wife, Sherry (Penny Johnson Jerald), both made several comebacks until their demise this past season. Additionally, Haysbert has landed a role in Sam Mendes' upcoming U.S. Marines feature "Jarhead" for Universal Pictures. He will next will be seen in ABC's limited series "Empire."
I absolutely agree with this. What a bunch of teenagers at CTU. I feel bad for the kid, but his parents are going to get it. The mother better not jump off a cliff. She needs to die a slow horrible death. I was really surprise when she took out the girl. You don't see that on shows very often.
One thing I've noticed since I just started watching this show with this new season is that I find myself hating terrorists more and more. Just the seedy way they operate makes me sick. I don't see how anyone who just lives a lie can claim to be on the side of any religion and how they can believe they will be a martyr going to heaven. There is nothing righteous about being a terrorist. It is evil in its purest form IMHO. Blowing innocents up, sneaking around, living lies, etc. etc. etc. . They have no boundaries. Only God should have no boundaries.
Totally agree with what you said... On the other hand, this is what some Muslims in the US were worried about, that this show would stereotype them as all being "terrorists" who act normal while doing evil things, which the Fox people said they will try to address. I hope this show does not cause another rediculous wave of backlash against Muslim-Americans. I hope the viewers are smart enough to know the line between fiction and reality. Jack Baur is not a real character, nor are those who play the role of terrorists. The show always goes to extremes to make the viewers on the edge of their seats, I don't think much of '24' will ever be a reality. Of course, there are always crazies lurking around waiting to make trouble anyways
exactly what I was thinking. That magically intercepted the signal in 5 seconds but yet can not trace the other guys cell back to the compound.... and he's in the middle of BFE in a near bunker style building but yet he gets perfect signal? I wonder who that carrier is.
While I think it is great that Palmer is coming back, I heard that Tony & possibly Michelle will be back sooner that that. Loved Tony. Hated seeing him get screwed over last year. BUt the girl who plays Michelle is on CSI now, I think, so I would be really surprised to see her on 24.
