What if we drafted Peppers instead of Carr?

    VY instead of Mario?

What if the Browns weren't stupid?

I'd take Peppers instead of Carr and VY instead of Mario but I understand that pick.

Very happy the Browns are stupid

The world would be a very different place.

People will call me a Vince fanboy (which I am, he's the best high school and college football player I've ever seen), but I swear if he had gone almost anywhere other than a Jeff Fischer Team, he could have a had a career.

O-line and D-line. You win and lose in the trenches.

Remember when the Browns took on our Brock Osweiler contract in exchange for a 2nd. Then we traded them in the first to move up and grab……… Deshaun Watson.

they saved us from that contract too

I would really like to keep adding to the defense. Offensive line is always a good option, though.

If the Texans can force turnovers, get sacks, and not give up chunk plays, that's a good recipe to keep the team in games. And something you could rely on in a low scoring game.

The offense wouldn't need to do too much with Stroud and a decent run game. Even though we know Stroud is capable of putting the team on his back and has shown up in clutch situations.

Thinking another safety will have to be added in the 4th with all the Ward injuries. Who didn't see that happening.
Watts from Notre Dame or Nick Emmanwori fit the 'Swerm' battle cry.

Browns had a playoff team with Baker Mayfield. It was a scary good defense. And then they blew up team for an all or nothing move with Watson. Now

Now they can’t afford to resign a lot of their own players, they lost out on 1st round picks, and now they are in limbo on the rebuild or try and fix a team in dismay.

The Kenyon Green pick sucked, but the move to get Will Anderson by itself was worth the price of the trade…. The Lassiter pick looks like it was very promising with great early returns.

Those Georgia guards might be a nice day 3 pick. Their best guard, Tate Ratledge, didn’t play yesterday and is a day 2 pick. He is coming of surgery tho.

    Should have been
Should have been a top 10 pick. He's as good as any wr in that class.

Offensive linemen! This group is just not good enough. I said it last year too. Even when much healthier they are soft as marshmallows. Packers are 18th in total defense and 25th in pass defense, and you'd never guess that looking at how Stroud has been rushed today.

Baker at that time was an entitled diva who needed to eat humble pit for a couple of years before leveling up to what he is today. I don't blame the Browns one bit for wanting to move on from him. Trading for Deshaun was their big mistake; cutting Baker loose was not.

Playing Baker with a bum shoulder was their mistake.

It's funny that drafting Johnny Football is now the 4th? worst QB decision the Browns have made this century.

If they didn't want a Diva they shouldn't have traded for Watson. At least Baker wasn't accused of sexually assaulting numerous women. Yeah, he was cocky, but Watson had a big ego, and is a nasty predator who couldn't even stop himself from preying on strangers during the season with a pandemic raging. That and he just up and quit on us before the season began after signing that contract.

You don't think Vince did well? I thought he overachieved massively in the nfl, i didn't think there was any chance he would be a starting level player (like tebow or manziel). Granted he mostly sucked, but i thought he was someone who at best was worth a 4th-5th round type pick as a project, not someone you could have expected to start.
