Individual drills are misleading. Practice slow until the technique become automatic and then you can play fast, without the hindrance of translation or conscious thought. Practice makes permanent. Only perfect practice makes perfect.
He definitely has some areas for improvement, but that ball hawk ability while playing centerfield is really valuable.. and it’s not really an attribute that can be taught. Example: sauce Gardner was taught to be an elite coverage guy and learned very well Derek stingley is still learning to get better at coverage, but his innate ability to see the ball - get the ball is other-worldly.. the two of them could be cornerstones of a “no fly zone” type unit. IMHO.
Funny that Lassiter was getting most of the love and attention in PS and Camp, but Bullock is the standout in Game 1. Want to see him roaming deep more than Ward in the coming weeks.
