I’m hoping that Yordan Alvarez is good to go in the wild card round. The team has enough grittiness to win without him, but they are facing the likely American League Cy Young in game 1. So the team will need to bring its bats.
Baltimore joins the Astros losing 2 home games. And Baltimore was swept last year. Wildcard round sucks.
Baltimore has some serious concerns, that's 5 straight playoff losses to start their "window" of contention, none of which they looked even remotely competitive in. For as frustrating as the Astros have been, look at the Brewers to see just how painful a prolonged period of success can be.
Honestly. Time to decompress on baseball. Done with watching it till next season...now I'm here to just read what's up till then.
