Great game today for the Italian Super Cup final between Inter and AC Milan...though it was in Riyadh. Inter went up 2-0 only for Milan to come back and take it 3-2, with Pulisic getting yet another goal and playing a beautiful through ball to set up the winner. Was a fun watch, other than the lack of any crowd noise.

The Paramount + audio is always weird. Takes something away from the viewer.

Wonder if it’s because they’re not there at the actual game.

Winter transfer window is open and there's more activity than in the recent years.

    * Guardiola and City try to save their season with their primary skill: Spending foreign money, probably more than 100M€. They will sign a defender from Uzbekistan that I've never heard of as well was Omar Marmoush from Eintracht Frankfurt. Glad he's going to City, because Frankfurt's forwards have been gigantic frauds in the past: Luka Jovic (63M€ to Real Madrid), Sébastien Haller (50M€ to West Ham), André Silva (23M€ to Leipzig), Filip Kostic (15M€ to Juventus) and Randal Kolo Muani (95M€ to PSG) were all busts, each and every one of them. Marmoush was a below average Bundesliga player one or two years ago, so I fully expect him to no-show as well.

    * PSG will also spend big and sign Kvaratskhelia from Napoli for 60-80M€, huge factor in the Seria A title race.

    * Bayern needs to re-sign multiple key players this month. Neuer will play for another year, not sure if this is good news. Things look good with Davies and Musiala, not sure about Kimmich. Hope they will let Sané walk. In a dream scenario some desperate English team signs him this winter, but that's not gonna happen, so I'm fine with him leaving for free. Massive talent but mentally an amateur, never showed consistency in his years in Munich. At least one of Gnabry and Coman will leave in summer as well, also hope someone pays for Goretzka and his huge contract.

is there a way in the US to watch Seria A in Italian, rather than the lame Paramount+ commentary? my Italian is not perfect, but I know enough to get the gist, and honestly, it'd help me improve.

Can't tell you anything about the broadcasting situation in the US, but there are some special sites you should only visit with a VPN in which you can choose streams with different languages.
