Forrest Whitley delivery is quite dangerous.
The beginning of the season he picked up leg higher on his delivery in his highlights.

This month Forrest is not using his legs on his delivery.

Yea his delivery now compared to highschool is so much different. He was a big dude in highschool with thick legs and seemed to be incorporating his lower half much more back then. Now it's all arm, a very upright follow through, and an injury waiting to happen

Very sad how pitchers are getting hurt more than they used to, all while throwing fewer pitches and innings at the MLB level.

Here is Pedro Martinez talked about mechanics on MLB Network. He really knows his stuff.

Another solid outing for Julio Robaina, as he allowed a run on five hits, walked two, and struck out five in five innings for Corpus.

I noticed in his playing days how compact Martinez's arm was during his delivery. He didn't short-arm or anything, but nothing ever seemed vulnerably extended.

Back to back days with a Grand Slam for Hamilton, who is more well built than I remember.

He was an amazing pitcher especially for his size. You wouldn't think he was one of the most dominate pitcher ever by just looking at him.

Zach Daniels started a rehab assignment with Fayetteville today. Good sign that he’s coming back. Very high ceiling prospect. Gonna be a roster crunch in Corpus soon.

Man I really wish he was healthy this year to build on his 2022 season. Hamate bone injury usually saps power for a year, hope he can work on his approach and making contact, the power hopefully will come back later this year or next year

Jacob Melton went 2-5 with a couple of stolen bases (20) and scored twice out of the leadoff spot for Asheville tonight.

Kenedy Corona smacked a three-run homer for Corpus, his 9th of the year.

It would be fun to see Arrighetti pitch in Houston this season.

I don’t know if it’s a coincidence but all of the AA SP have been extremely good since the Hooks got C Garrett “Minor League Maldonado” Wolforth. Of course, he didn’t catch Arrighetti last night, but still.
