Kansas follows their big win at home vs UH, with a loss to Kansas St. Just another day in the B12 on the road.
At this point I’m more impressed with a road win in this conference than I am a home win vs almost anybody
Same. The road wins now just hold much more merit against all these tough environments. The number or lack thereof infront of the team doesn’t matter
Kansas against Houston looked like the vintage Celtics. Against Kansas State they looked like "average." This league is insane.
IUPUI vs Detroit Mercy: 6-20 is losing to 0-26 at halftime, by about 20 pts eta: Random: do yall know that Grand Canyon University is coached by Bryce Drew, and they're 22-2 or so?
I knew that GCU was winning a lot…had no idea Bryce was their coach! Man, that was a helluva tournament moment when he hit that game winner for Valpo
Valpo vs Ol'Miss, right? Ansu Sesay was a Texan (Milby? Willowridge?) who should have never gone to play with the Confederates.
Sesay is a real blast from the past. Fun story…I went with my dad, a friend, and his dad to the Whataburger Classic High School All Star game at Rice in like 1988 or so. The feature player was a kid named LaBradford Smith who ended up going to Louisville to play for Denny Crum. He was sensational. They called him Baby Jordan. First round pick and he was in the league for a little while. In the dunk competition he got to the finals against some kid from Skyline HS in Dallas named Larry Johnson. We watched freaking Larry Johnson win that dunk competition in tiny Autry Court lol. It was amazing!
Yeah, I was there. 7 or 8th grade? basketball team. Probably sitting in the bleachers about 15 feet from yall.
