Smith is going to be the best player from this class. It’s going to take 2-3 more years.

Not the NBA 3 so this makes lots of sense

    Seriously...

Do you think Udoka is looking at the roster of uncoached talent and salivating?

Green is 22ppg with no structure
Smith was left out to dry and still managed to find his feet (eventually)
Sengun is a walking stat machine
And there is still #4 and Eason and #20 and JC and TyTy and KPjr

Oh - and 60M in cap space to bring in veterans to mentor these guys

    Wow

This class has merely scratched the surface yet.

    Same with Jalen's class.

Glad to hear it. We don’t need a backup center if he puts on 15 lbs of muscle. Don’t know if that is achievable in one off-season, but Jabari should strive for a body as close to Giannis as possible.

Admittedly not a Miller fan but a backup unit with Bari at the 5 with TyTy/KPj/Tari/Miller/Jabari is potent offensively and defensively.

Is Caruso a free agent and isn't he injury prone? I wouldn't mind that at all.

Too bad he played under the shittiest coach in basketball existence who did absolutely nothing to help figure out what was wrong and how to get him going. Left him to the wolves and let him struggle through the entire season to figure **** out. God I ****ing hate Silas with ever damn fiber in my body... ****ing worthless trash.

Lol. Kid has a long way to go not to look like a bust first. Simply starting to make 3s won't just make him the best in his draft class. He can't dribble, pass he's awful at basketball in general. This is nothing but wishful thinking.

Interesting stat. It's noteworthy that he only took a total of 8 more attempts in the NBA than Auburn.

But it also means (I think) that his struggles came when he shot 3-pointers off the catch or in other situations.

    Total 3 pointers 120-391 for 30.7%
Off the dribble 24-61 for 39.3%
    Others 96-330 for 29%

This could mean he's just more comfortable taking 3 pointers off the dribble, or it was something else, such as a problem with the offensive system and the quality of the passes that he got last season.

And this is what pisses me off so much. Our coaching staff did absolute jack to find out what could have been wrong. Instead we just parked his ass on the perimeter for catch and shoots all game and was just like yup he’s slumping. Bari shot those same shots in rhythm along with that middy turnaround but yeah let’s just make him a background prop tree in the KPJ as PG comedy show instead. How about having KMJ do a handoff followed by a Sengun screen? Nope no plays needed. To add to that, we had all these dumb as hell “fans” talking about how he’s a **** shooters like someone who shot well his entire life would just suddenly become a bad shooter.

I think it was a combination of things. Because they had Bari attempting catch and shoot after his injury from pre-season, it was a struggle for him to find his spot and being left behind after missing a few games at the beginning of season. Because the coaching staff did nothing to adapt and get him in position to excel, it messed with his mental state and he wasn’t able to play to his ability like he did in the SA Spurs preseason game. But he came back after all star weekend showcasing why he was top three pick.

    This is great news.
