Some fellas are scrutinized so much because of where they were drafted, and especially if someone taken after them starts shining bright. Look at Bryce Young getting roasted because the guy taken after him is tearing up the NFL with his elite QB play.

The first year for Green was a bad year for him, in part because the huge learning curve, plus getting into NFL shape. Anyone would excuse a bad first year as NFL jitters. The second year was way more concerning, until it was revealed he’d been playing with an injury that required season ending surgery.

The big fella came back ready to go, and already is demonstrating that he is immensely talented. Just as we had anticipated when he was initially drafted.

Howard needs to learn from Green how to fcking lay the defender flat to the ground. I saw a couple of times he got confused or didn't finish the job and allowed the defender to recover; play with some nastiness Howard.

True, but he injured his should in the 4th or 5th game of his rookie year and that greatly contributed to his poor rookie year. He actually looked pretty good before he suffered injury. They chose to treat his shoulder injury without surgery that offseason and that mistake cost him year two. This actually may have been fr the best because it gave Green a full year to get healthy and work with NFL S&C guys to not only get healthy but get in the best shape of his life without the wear and tear of an NFL season on his body.

Send him back to A&M. He’s still got a year of eligibility.

Unfortunately, he just has not figured it out, I don't know if its talent or the attitude but at the end of the day he SUCKS.....................the O line will be our downfall this year. We were better last year with average Joe`s on the O Line......how is that even possible??????

Clearly that first game was a fluke and the guy hasn't really improved. It's time to put Patterson in there. He got plenty of time last season with the injuries, so he should at least be serviceable.

He has to be replaced for the Colts game. The superior K Green needs to start in his place. Like accountability needs to be addressed.

He had a chance to redeem himself after Patterson got hurt but proceeded to give up 3 straight pressures on CJ for a quick 3 & out. He did that after Slowik and Jerrod Johnson were yelling at him to motivate him. He crumbled.

Worst Texans draft pick ever and that’s quite a feat.
