    They're on a losing streak started by HOU. Five game skid.

    But the teams they lost to included Denver and Utah. It's more of a realization that Mavericks is more at Phoenix/Blazers tier rather than Jazz & Nuggets. A high risk/reward offensive team; ranked middle in defense (15th currently). Kind of like what they (and Rockets) were last year in the regular season. Dallas fans complaining about Porzingis missing his defensive assignments.

    Covid is a reason but every team seems to go shorthanded. Their bench may not be as deep as they think. Yes probably missing Silas is a contributing factor. After Silas left, the Luka Kristap pick n' roll doesn't seem as crisp anymore.

    The frustration is that they're losing double digit leads on some of the games. You get reports of Luka and Richardson arguing. Healthy tension? Luka threw a towel on his face.

    They have had tougher opponents (than us) and our record isn't that stellar either, still... league/fans expectations make a powerful thing. They're under the spotlight, we're not.

    They lost Seth Curry and Porzingas is shooting like crap. Last team worked offensively because everyone could shoot except for Luka. This year, since they effectively have 2 less shooters and everyone across the board is shooting worse, they are not nearly as effective.

    Last season, out all their players that took three 3 pointers per game, only Luka was below league average. This season, 4 out of the their top 5 in attempts are shooting below 33 percent from behind the arc with 3 shooting below 30 percent. :eek:

    It's funny for the last 2 years the media was clamoring Luka was just as good as Harden. Saying he can do everything that Harden does. Now Luka with a typical Harden type team not only is he struggling but the team is really struggling. Apparently he doesn't elevate the games of the people around him like some.
