Ghost Wars is looking like a poor man's Midnight Texas A bit more of a serious straight forward tone but it is simply not capturing my imagination Maybe I am becoming a bit of a hard marker but this show just seems like a bunch of Meh The first season of the Exorcist was a'ight but nothing special I think the pacing overall is just too slow. This season really has not reeled me any better Van Helsing is back. It is not bad overall. Like most SYFY Offerings you give it a little leeway it is not bad but it is not good either. Various narratives are bothersome others are cliche but . . . . gotta watch something and it is making semi enjoyable The Blacklist is back - Honestly the deconstruction of RED's empire was a good season to me I loved Mr Kaplan's ruthlessness and ingenuity. I like the Summer Blacklist exploring Tom Keen's past So I am liking this as a series. Watching RED - reconstruct his empire is interesting twist I think what I like most is the characters he surrounds himself with. James Spader is just an excellent actor to me . . .. Now if only they could find a way to bring Mr. Solomon into the main show. Channel Zero: The No Where House Like American Horror Story they have a different show every year - except they change cast This year is an interesting concept. Last year was ok but a bit slow. The pay off was meh So far this one is slow and alot of Teen angst. I will say I am still trying to figure out where they are going though. . .. . and it holds my interest Somethings are cliche (relationships) but others are not . . .. house concept and scenery I am REALLY not a Seth McFarlane fan so I have not tried THE ORVILLE yet but I continue to hear good things about it So . . . .I might check it out I am about 3 Episodes deep into the new STAR TREK : Discovery I like it. It still has room to grow though I checked out Mr. Robot and feel like i missed last season. I think I will have to go back and RE BINGE to catch up . HERO Shows THE FLASH - Reset to default - Barry comes back . . .faster than ever . . .nothing's change - Wally is still useless THE ARROW - Angst - Little Explaination of time jump - New Daddy issues - Not alot of sauce on this one SuperGirl - gave it one more trying. . . . . remembered why I left Legends - See Supergirl - Uhm we gonna do isht cause we bored. . .. what motivations!!!! Inhumans is almost INWatchable - the characters are cardboard . .. I'm rooting for Maximus because he actually has a good point and the Royal Family is annoying AF and just full of isht THE GIFTED maybe the break out show of this group. I'm interested and engaged so far. SITCOMS BlackIsh is becoming must see TV The Mayor is The Meh - but it needs time to find its feet Rocket River
I saw one episode of GHOSTED Need to check on more. I did not think it was bad but pilots are rarely great. I am interested to see where it goes Rocket River
Still checking into other shows. I watch the first season of Vice Principals. . it was ok. Still watching Lucifer. . . strangely it is still interesting Wonder why Mace is not on as much . . she is FIYAH Rocket River
The last few episodes of Vice Principals have made up for any lacklusteriness (made up a word!) from the first season. I haven't been more hyped about a series finale in a while.
