With the talent from this years draft class as well as Ben Simmons playing his rookie year this season, rookie of the year should be a battle.

Who do y'all predict will win? Who do you predict will be top 3 in ROY voting?

    Simmons
    Dennis Smith
    Donovan Mitchell

    Lonzo
    Tatum
    Fultz
    Isaac
    Fox
    Monk

I'll be rather stunned if John Collins isn't in the top 3 by end of the season. He's going to be getting a starting role and starters minutes from the opening tip this year due to the deconstruction of ATL.

I'm astounded by Simmons and his length and size, his handle and passing ability for how big he is. He should be a matchup nightmare for smaller guards but he hasn't taken advantage of that in the preseason. His shooting and defense has been below average in the pre-season, he was a fav of mine for ROY but now I'm not so sure/

Simmons looks like the clear front runner. Mitchell has been impressive even though he's on the Jazz. Lonzo.... well you already know. Dennis Smith Jr. Plays for the Mavs, and they have the worst record in basketball... Still early but I think Simmons is head, shoulders, knees, and toes above the competition. Kuzma has been a great surprise for a late 1st rounder.

If Kuzma had been starting instead of Larry Nance Jr., he would stand a chance against Ben Simmons.

How? Simmons is dropping 19, 9, and 7 for a playoff team.

I just have a feeling like Kuzma would grow quicker over the season than Simmons due to his higher motor. I still think Simmons wins it, but not in a landslide.
