trade up take a WR. It looks more and more like the Titans will take DGB with the first pick. Oh boy.
Apparently the Texans wanted to trade up to get Dorsett. Maybe they go with Tyler Lockett if he is available.
That hurts man. Dorsett is the guy I wanted (said it here a few weeks ago) badly. Burns even more knowing the Texans actually DID want to get him and he went to the Colts.
Link? Seemed like they were still trying to trade up even with Dorsett off the board. Braddock tweeted that they wanted Bud Dupree too, and they still wanted to trade with the Pats after Dorsett was taken, but the Pats decided to take Malcolm Brown.
Depth at CB looked pretty good so the Texans must really stick to their draft board and their bpa analysis. So we might see a Eli Harold, Chris Conley, or maybe even Maxx Williams
Also from NFL.COM Kansas City Chiefs Draft pick: CB Marcus Peters (No. 18 overall) Grade: A- The skinny: Andy Reid got tremendous value at pick No. 18 and might have landed the top corner in the draft. Given the rough and rowdy division the Chiefs play in, Peters' ability to cover and be physical with receivers will be a nice fit.
http://houston.cbslocal.com/2015/05...t-would-be-available-with-32nd-pick-of-draft/ Take it for what it's worth I think the trade breakdown had more to do with the Pats wanting Brown than the Texans changing their mind
I don't like him as a 1st round pick. He is fast but not a proven route runner and pass catcher. He is also small and can be jammed at the line of scrimmage.
With the rumors of the Texans looking to trade Jjo, This gives a ton of possibilities as to what we could acquire with extra possible picks today.
Did the Chargers think the Texans were going to draft Melvin Gordon? Or did they think we'd trade the pick to someone else? I still don't get why they moved up.

the patriots need a cb/ i'll take their MLB and their 2nd rounder with $3,000 back plus a superbowl deflated ball.
Sounds good and all, but at this point, do we really need 8.5 million dollars in cap room? Or is this for next year? It seems that with us being under the cap already, the savings when trading him basically means nothing. In fact, one could say he is possibly worth that money as a mentor to Johnson.
No clue, I was just adding that the savings would be a bonus if there was anywhere we still wanted to spend some money.
