Aren't you going to prove to him you're not a basement dweller?

Or is your silence basically a confession?

If Lin wasn't Asian most of his current fans won't even be a fan of his and probably would of never heard of him.

Lin is like the Danica Patrick of the NBA. If Danica wasn't a women, no one would know who she is either.

i think there's a fairly good chance that his supporters would still be democrat supporters and most people would have heard of him.

Well he only shoots 8 - 10 times a game. He is a deferring pg. Maybe he should shoot 15-20 times like some other point guards.

By the way he shoots the least of all the starting point guards. I guess he doesn't care about stats. Anyways if he wants another contract in this league, he better stop deferring.

Obama didn't win because was Black.

And Jeremy Lin didn't get the ball stolen from him by Mo Williams cause he's Asian.

He got the ball stolen from him because he's a terrible point guard.

Lin's fans want to see him in a Go Daddy ad though.

So we're pretending race and gender should never be factors in anything?

That's a pretty childish view of the world.

When did I say that race and gender should never be a factor in anything? Someone said for an average player Lin sure has a lot of fans. And I pointed out the main reason is because he's Asian, which makes him stand out from other average NBA players. If Lin was Black or White, he'd probably be just another one of the 400 or so current NBA players most people had never heard of.

Same with Danica. If she was a guy she'd just be another average Nascar driver most people would of never heard of.

Lin sucks. He is a decent back up pg and that is all he is. People need to stop making him out to be something that he isn't. If his fans in asia love him so much they should just take him off our hands. His contract is up at the end of this season. He'll do great in taiwan.

Average player or not, it's still Jeremy Lin, I doubt most girls would reject him but he doesn't pursue them either. I have a very cute cousin who met him at a club once. She walks over to her table and introduces herself and tells him that her mom (my aunt) is a big fan of his. We're all Asian by the way. They shake hands and that was that. I'm surprised he didn't ask for her number or anything. Everyone else would've jumped at the chance. I'm puzzled but then again I don't ever recall seeing Lin with a girl or ever hearing him having a girlfriend...
