I think Florida is better than LSU but I don't think they can beat them at home. I think Texas can beat WVU but I also am not sure how legitimately good WVU is. So again, Texas will beat a "meh" opponent and shoot up the rankings. I can already feel the heat coming... "WVU is GOOD, blah blah". Yeah they're good, I like Holgerson, I like Smith, but c'mon. They are about 75% as good as Baylor was last year. They have to weapons to upset good teams but they're just weak enough to lose 1-3 games to middle of the road opponents.

Edit - I think WVU is as about as good as Baylor was last year minus the Griffin-factor.

South Carolina is playing an SEC team that gave up 44 points last week. To an SEC team that gave up 51. I also recall another SEC team giving up 50+ to a school that not many would consider an offensive juggernaut, even by SEC standards. An

when you actually have qb's that can throw the ball, defensive battles wont exsist

SEC has no qb's.. which makes their defenses look better than they are

If David Ash plays like last week, UT will win against WVU. Remember, WVU only beat Baylor by 7 at home and it took a superhuman effort from Geno Smith. The week before against Maryland, WVU's defense also looked terrible (to me). They can't stop anybody.

Just don't see LSU losing to Florida. I think playing a good team will bring out their "A" game.

I'll take South Carolina over Georgia because they are just better but Connor Shaw has to keep up with Aaron Murray. If Shaw has a great game, it won't be that close.

Don't be surprised if Miami gives Notre Dame a rough time.

Georgia lost WR Michael Bennett to an ACL tear.

    . . . . . . .

Nick Saban with some thoughts on the no-huddle, 'high octane offenses' that you see today.

What say you? Should Saban just shut up :p or does he have a point?

Saban should shut up. He doesn't like other coaches using something to their advantage that he won't do. The statement is purely about his self-interest.

"Is this what we want football to be" is what's on his mind. I don't believe for one minute player safety has anything to do with it. He mentioned safety to legitimize his statement against fast-paced football.

As good a football coach as he is, I cannot stand Nick Saban.
