Was watching SportsCenter and Tim Hasselbeck said Vick does not deserve to be in MVP talks.....yet. His reasoning? He has missed 4 games.

He said he would give the award to Phillip Rivers right now.

Who deserves MVP discussion at this point?

I'd say Vick definitely needs to be in the discussion regardless of games missed.

It's hard because 4 games is a lot of missed time. It's 1/4 of the season. I think he belongs in the discussion, but I don't think there's a chance he'll win it because of those 4 missed games. I'd say Brady is probably at the top right now as far as MVP goes.

The Chargers are not good enough for Rivers to win

And does missing 4 games make Vick any less valuable? His team is substantially better with him in there.

But right now, I would say Brady

Haha.. Roddy White.... He might be having a great season... but he's not even in the discussion for MVP.

Might not but he is very valuable to our team. If he went down our season would be over. He is the only playmaker we have at Wide Receiver.

He also saved our game against San Fran by stripping Clement on an interception at the end of the game to give us a chance. I agree with you I don't think he will be in discussion because he is very underrated but he is definitely our most valuable player.

i think Brady might be the front runner for MVP right now. 4 games is a lot of games to miss but if Vick continues this level of play, it'll be hard not to consider him a serious contender.

Vick actually missed 3 complete games. He played a good portion of the Green Bay game and was injured in the Washington game. I'm not saying he is the MVP but he should definitely be discussed.

There is no way Vick wins the award.

Manning is ahead of him, as is Brady and a few others.

It's a shame the Texans aren't winning more because you'd have to put Arian Foster in the conversation.

The MVP will be decided week 12, Indy vs SD. Peyton vs Rivers.

Rivers can't play special teams, so I'm giving it to him.

Chargers go on their typical late season surge and Rivers will win it.

Vick will get comeback player of the year or something like that.

If the Chargers goes to playoffs, then Rivers will get it.

Rivers will win it. He has been playing well without his #1 WR. He also made Randy McMichael and Seyi Ajirotutu look good.

Well, I think the Texans Defense had a lot to do with that.

I think if Vick continues to have days along his season averages he will be in the discussion come week 18. Remember, it's only week 11 right now so he has missed almost 40% of the games to this point.

A lot of football left to be played, but Vick is definitely in the conversation. He has just been unreal this year.

I drafted him about 7 years too early in fantasy. :(

    1. Rivers
    2. Vick

It would be Vick if he hadn't missed those games and played well in them.
