Texans staying pat ??  :( :(

How about Lendale White as our backup to Slaton? Titans only asking for a 2nd round. I think he really can have a break out yet except Chris Johnson is there man.

    P.U.

I wouldn't offer them a 4th rounder for Lendale White. This draft is rich with big backs. We'll find a good one.

There should be about dozen teams out there trying to get Boldin and Marshall, especially if it is only a 2nd or 3rd pick involved.

Have we decided which WR we want?

I'm (probably stupidly) excited about potentially signing TO, but it seems like Antonio Bryant might be the better choice, but I don't know a lot about him other than he didn't live up to expectations in Tampa last year (injuries...?)

Now that Coles is gone, our WR corp is 85, Caldwell, and some combination of Simpson, Purify, and Cosby

I'm still clinging to the possiblity for the Eagles to move McNabb, maybe not to the Rams.

    Think about it,

#1 - Kevin Kolb finally gets to become the starter. Personally, not sold on him, but he has alot of potential and played really well when McNabb was injured.

#2 - McNabb is an unrestricted FA, next year at the age of 34. Some could argue he is not as good as he used to be. Also, the money not spent on McNabb could definitely go to the defensive side of the ball and possibly running back (DeAngelo Williams, Steven Jackson, Cedric Benson).

#3 - Aren't Eagles in a way going through a youth movement, anyway.

#4 - Michael Vick (Is he really just trade bait or going to be considered a viable backup or starter...which would mean either Kolb or McNabb is out?)

#5 - McNabb would probably not have too many problems going to a team that is in a competitive situation, like Arizona, Carolina, or even Minnesota (if there's outside chance of Favre, not returning)

TO and OchoCinco on the same receiving core, I know both, especially T.O. is past his prime. But that is nightmarish match-up for some teams.

    Thank god Cromartie is gone.

If Kirk Morrison, a proven ILB is worth a 3rd..... I'd personally be all over that deal.

His stats were inflated when he stepped in for McNabb.

Running back is a position that Eagles fans will always clamor for but will never get as long as Reid is head coach. Why would you throw millions and millions of dollars at a running back when you run the ball only 30-40% of the time?

Yeah, they have rebuilt the team basically without having to go through any of the rebuilding pains (multiple losing seasons, change of coaching/administration, etc.) but I believe you still need some veteran leadership. I think that the loss of Dawkins last year hurt the team on defense more than they would care to admit.

I see him as nothing more than trade bait. He wasn't really effective the times he touched the ball this past season, he wants to be a starter somewhere, the Eagles spent a 2nd round choice on Kolb, and I just don't see them paying that much money to for one person to run 2-3 plays a game.

I actually think deep down he would love to go elsewhere. The fans and media in Philadelphia have constantly blasted this guy while he has been pretty successful throughout his NFL tenure except for missing out on the Super Bowl. But ask Raider, Ram, 49er, and other fans if they would trade their last several seasons with the Eagles and I guarantee you the answer will almost always come out a resounding yes.

All that and the fact he wouldn't have to do so much. Imagine the pressure a run game would take off of him.

I'd take it in a heartbeat. I've always hated Fat Ass.

Wish the Titans had got in on that Boldin action. Boldin/Britt/Gage would finally make WR a strength of the Titans for the first time.

Am I the only one who thinks 6 yrs./$80mil for Peppers is the most absurd NFL contract ever?
